Somewhat dated but the room was clean and pleasant. The bathroom had a tiny sink and only a shower stall. Otherwise, the proximity to the bay is a big plus and for a few nights stay, it was great.

Simple and Cozy

At first we were at another room, but had trouble with the sink. Managment was informed and came right away, tried to fix the problem and got us another room. I still like the hotel-simple,cozy and neat. Thank you guys for the service and hospitality.We'll be back again for sure!

The Pleasant Inn is a clean, centrally located, and no-frills "retro" and family-owned motel that is walkable to dozens of shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Due to its steep hilly location, guests with disabilities will have a difficult time getting around town, other than certain nearby stores and dining facing the bay that are on flat ground.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pleasant Inn. Being walking distance to the Embarcadero as well as downtown was a huge bonus. The room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed.

A pleasant inn indeed! Room was a good size for 2 adults and a dog with a well-appointed kitchenette. Bed was comfortable and the room also had a fan. Great location walking distance to the main street but far away enough that it was peaceful and quiet. Parking was convenient as well. Only small issue was the bathroom sink was a little finnicky but totally fine once we got used to it

What a quaint Boutique Hotel! Very accommodating! Only issue was that it was pretty small for the 5 of us. Still, I highly recommend this place! Staff are wonderful and flexible! Definitely a must!

The room was clean and nicely kept. Everything worked the way it was supposed to. Convenient parking. Great location. What made this experience all the better was the staff. Jessica is the absolute best! I ended up extending my stay an extra night because it was so great. Highly recommend.
