Family room was dirty and moldy. Windows in the nook were dirty and black round the edges. In that same bedroom the floor plate on the sliding closet door was dirty and black. Carpet has stains and looked to be old. Stayed here a long time ago, not the same. Poor young lady at the desk was stretched thin doing everything. Happy hour and morning promises were lacking. Very disappointing.

Not what it portrays

The desk clerk was very rude and not helpful. He freaking put his hand in my face and said, ‘ Do you want the room or not?’ I told him he needed to get out of my space. We had driven for about 5 hours and there wasn’t another room in town. We had 4 disabled seniors with us and we requested a ground floor room when making the reservation. He had one available but was holding it for someone who hadn’t arrived. He put us on the second floor which entailed walking up a steep flight of stairs. I don’t know how we managed but we had to. Not a pleasant experience.

Enjoyed our stay there. Quiet place and enjoyed the 2 drink happy hour where we talked with other guests. Our room was spacious and located in town close to variety of places. Enjoyed the free candy and snacks.

This is a lovely property and we have stayed here before. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms, which was very nice. There are a few touches in the bathroom, which would make it even better. Some sort of make up mirror, and something to hang towels on by the sinks. It was wonderful to have two sinks and plenty of counterspace and a door between that area and the toilet and shower. I loved the fireplace heater. The daybed in front of the windows was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The little living room area was great as was the enclosed Tea and coffee space in front of the room. I wish we would’ve been there a bit longer to take advantage of some of the special touches. The little refrigerator microwave toaster, and pour over coffee. Space was also excellent to have. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and staff

It’s a lovely hotel situated in the heart of the village with very friendly staff. Evening drinks and appetizers and a kitchen stocked with coffee, teas and microwave popcorn. The room was very large but definitely needed a deep cleaning of the carpeting, tub grout, etc. Window shades and drapes both needed repairs.

I loved my time at Rigdon House. It is a beautiful building with lots of unique beauty. The tea stand in the common area is delightful. My king suite room was amazing. Large and spacious, fireplace, 2 sliding glass doors overlooking a huge patio area. I loved every minute I was here. Im definitely coming back.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the staff was fabulous. The lobby was inviting and warm. There were treats, tea and coffee available all the time. We will definately visit here again and would recommend this hotel highly.

Great stay. Happy Hour was a nice touch - had a couple of drinks and met some great people (and dogs!) Room was very spacious, very good bed. Old building charm - could use just a bit of upgrading. Overall a wonderful time. We'll be back.
