I wish I had known the room fridge DID have a freezer compartment... I could have brought a Strickland’s Frozen Custard hard-pack. Loved the in room safe. Would have liked a lake view room. Overall a great place to stay!

Location, location, location. Rooms were Super 8 level, but the location is unbeatable, and the common areas are nice, and everything is clean and functional and the staff is nice enough, so there is upside in spite of the cost. Probably should be $100 cheaper though.

It was our first time staying here, the price is worth the walkability to be able to come and go from the park throughout the day. The room was pretty similar to our express hotel stay two weeks prior. There are food options on site which is nice, and the beach and pool are also nice, but you need more than a one day stay to enjoy those.

I did not like the room we had, the bathroom was very tight, we had a view of a rooftop with exhaust systems. went to complain, will see what happens if they can do something off the bill.

The location is beautiful! However, if you want to communicate with your family, take walkie talkies. The cell service is horrible no matter who your provider is. I was a little disappointed that the door to the bathroom wouldn't close, either because it was hung incorrectly or because of swelling. If you want Starbucks, get there at 6am when they open. The same goes for eating at Perkins. They opened at 7am when I was there. Your entire party must be there in order to be seated. The resort is cashless so you can only use debit or credit. There are Cash-to-Card machines on the property. Other than that, it was a nice play to stay!
