Haley Hotel is a charming idiosyncratic place that is a refreshing change from chain hotels. Its decor is all based on a nautical theme and the courtyard is abundant with flowers. Bed was very comfortable. The front staff were charming and helpful, a welcome change from some imperious and officious front desk staffers I have occasionally encountered. Excellent location if you enjoy walking, to downtown State street restaurants and theaters.

The ambiance was a win. After a grueling voyage, it was nice to seek refuge, take a long hot shower, put the LED fireplace on and turn into the evening. The bed and pillows were comfortable, soft yet firm. Air flow, light control, and privacy were nice with the blinds.

The location of the hotel is perfect just minutes away from State St and wharf, where you find places to eat or shop. We went walking up State St, noticed a free shuttle service that we took back after not realizing how much we had walked. The rooms are small but clean and has everything you may need including a microwave which is a plus, a lot of hotels no longer have them in the rooms. Lots of games on the premises also they have bikes you can use first 2 hours are free after that theres a charge. Parking lot is right next to the hotel charge $15 a night. We will definitely return.
