Perfect location, walk to the beach, clean, beautiful room, a bottle of wine included. For a Motel 6 this is top rated as they are usually not so but in Santa Barbara, it’s the way to go.

Property is great for a weekend away in Santa Barbara! The room is super clean, and the staff are really friendly, easy check-in and checkout process. The only negative is it? It’s quite noisy when you’re in the room. You can hear people if they come back in the middle of the night so you just need to sleep with like a sound machine or something but other than that it was perfect.

Large spacious room and bathroom in a very convenient location. We were supposed to receive a bottle of wine because of our Expedia status, but nothing was mentioned. After we asked for it, they gave us a bottle. The room & bathroom were clean, but the fridge was not. There was food leftover from previous ppl inside the fridge.

Well, I’ve never been in the motel six and this is the very first one there was and they’re independently owned so they very, but this was wonderful that even had a view of the ocean. Oh my goodness in Santa Barbara no less. I brought my chow chow and the staff in guest delight were enamored of her, so that’s always lovely. The hotel was uniformly, freshly painted and appointed and the staff was really gracious. It will definitely be my place to stay in Santa Barbara on my next trip.

Beautiful hotel very close to the beach. Staff was so kind and helpful! Only downsides were the pool isn't heated (it was a chilly day and we wanted to swim but without heating the pool was super cold) and no coffee machine in room (but there was freshly brewed coffee in the lobby). Had a wonderful stay and would def stay again!

The place was fine, but the price for a Motel 6 was ridiculous. Sure, it’s a classic being the first one ever, but it’s still a Motel 6. And the parking was super tight.
