The check in and check out process was so easy. Although many of the rooms were recently updated, there were several areas of the room that were missing paint, the white chairs were stained and it seems like some of the exposed drywall was just painted over without repair. Housekeeping was also knocking on our door quite early in the morning which if you plan to be in bed at 8am is a rude awakening. Outside of that, I love the location, it is away from the busy crowds.

I enjoyed my stay here this place is adorable i enjoyed the quiet and The staff was very helpful. I think the room could have been cleaner there was hair in the shower drain and in a few other areas I did not feel the desire to make a fuss however otherwise it may have been 5 star experience.

This was such a great inn! Everything about this location from the accommodations to the friendly staff were just amazing. We went for a birthday and just had the most amazing time. The fire pit was a particularly great option! We will definitely be back!!

This place looks cute outside and inside. Standard amenities minus the over soft mattress. The cleaning solution was quite strong when we entered. It was humid so we needed to use A/C in December. The check-in code was supposed to be available at 3p check-in, but wasn’t updated on my account. Fortunately someone showed up to the front office to assist with getting a code. It’s a nice walk into town, not far.

Very cozy room! We had 5 people and the room had a loft plus the downstairs with bathrooms on both floors. This made the accommodations more comfortable and roomy. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding. We will definitely be staying at the New Haven Inn on our next Solvang trip.

Aside from the power going out for 5 or 6 hours, and it raining 24/7 during our stay, the stay at the New Haven was great, but booking the room was not so great. When I booked, the listing on Expedia said 'reserve now, pay later', exact words. Then, when you get to the pay page to input credit cards, it again says, 'reserve now, pay later. We only need your payment details to secure your reservation. You'll pay for your room at the property.' This is misleading, as I was charged for the room the very next day after booking it. I never had to confirm any payment information when I arrived at the New Haven.
