I love the location of this place and the pool and hot tub. The rooms are nice and big. The only not as positive thing is that the bathroom and shower are quite small but we were fine with that.

Very clean room, friendly staff. Perfect location, pool and spa very nice amenity to have after long day of walking on State Street. Really like the location near the harbor. The Garden Suite and included breakfast was perfect for a trip with teens, who actually wanted to make midnight mac n cheese in the suite kitchen. The staff was very accommodating when they went hunting for butter. I was surprised, but the well appointed kitchen had everything they needed. I only docked a star because the mattress wasn't super comfortable and the breakfast muffins were terrible. So not perfect, but what is? We will stay again.

Everything was great except the walls are a bit thin. I could hear people making noise upstairs and next door. Bed was a little hard too so I hardly slept. But, I guess it’s a trade off for such a chill place?

Staff are customer oriented and friendly. The rooms are clean, and there is a nice patio area in the middle in addition to an appealing pool and jacuzzi area. In the mornings, the hotel provides hot coffee, tea, a variety of juices, muffins, bread, yogurt, blueberries, and creaks, definitely enough to start the day. Perhaps the best feature info the West Beach Inn is its location as guests only need to cross the street to get to the beach area and a little further to State Street with its ample selection of eating and drinking establishments. My wife and I chose Santa Barbara Roasting Company for coffee, Dargan’s Irish Pub for Guinness, and Playa Azul on Santa Barbara Street near Canon Perdido for a wonderful Playa Azul tostada with halibut. It was so good that we had it 2 days in a row. I’m already wondering when I can make a return visit to Santa Barbara.

My husband and I stayed at one of the suites with our two kids and it was perfect for our 4 day trip in Santa Barbara - Well renovated &maintained rooms, GREAT location, good pool & jacuzzi, cute garden, breakfast bar, wine tasting, free & easy parking, laundry room. What a wonderful stay! Staff was so warm and friendly and wanting to help. Every single one, including the ladies cleaning the rooms. They upgraded us to review room for a nominal fee, the breakfast is continental. Wonderful bagels, call cereals, fresh fruit an amazing coffee. We were not able to attend their happy hour.But we are coming back.So stay tuned.
