Cute, Unique, small inn, steps from the beach. Older property but very well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the water tower cottage. Loved the fenced yard and patio. Great for my dog to have a safe place to hang out. Would definitely stay there again.

Ocean echo indeed

Inn nicely located within a stone's throw of the beach, and within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Its name reflects that one can hear the waves coming onto the shore.

Decent little place to stay with a dog. The unit was clean, except for stains on the living room carpet. The $114 fee for having my dog with me was ridiculous. $50 per night plus tax, non refundable. Made an expensive, yet average property less appealing. The $40 fee to check in 2 hours early felt smacked of greed. Would spend my money elsewhere next time. Did I mention that the heat did not work properly? It was 57 degrees in the unit the first night and 80 the second night.

This is a hidden gem in Santa Cruz. Our family of four and dog recently stayed here. It’s a two minute walk to a beautiful cove. The room we stayed in was very spacious. It’s family friendly even for your fur babies. There is a $50 dog fee that is not very transparent on Expedia’s website. Do yourself and favor and dine at Lago Di Como. It’s a five minute walk with incredible authentic Italian food. We cannot wait to come back!

This was a great spot for us as we brought our dogs. However the pet fee of $50 per dog per night seemed high. The property is old but nicely maintained. Clean. Staff was hard to find at times but always very nice.

The Ocean Echo is a delight in every way! The rooms are each so creatively designed with a cozy and welcoming feel. The staff is extremely helpful. I had to check in late my first night, but Gabby answered immediately when I called, providing clear directions for entry to my room. The gardens are beautiful and the proximity to the beach is a two minute walk!. All in all, Ocean Echo is an absolutely perfect choice for a getaway to the Santa Cruz area!
