Quiet

Peaceful area. Being in law enforcement I stay on guard, this area and home left me feeling at peace. Without a doubt the safest area I have ever stayed in all my travels. Wading through the water to get to the beach was not a hinder for us but can see how it would be for others, there are other passageways to get to the beach though. Was blown away that everyone just left the things on the wharf and nothing stolen. Again really a safe place.

Our Stay

Loved the house but the "short walk" to the beautiful beaches was very misrepresented and I have already sent one email while we were there about this! We only found two places except for the wading across the brine looking water to get to the beach. The beaches should not belong to the property owner! That is total nondisclosure and you can take all that money and forget us staying with you again! That was totally wrong and the pool was very dirty and had not been cleaned the whole time we were there. I actually used the net to clean the debris out while we were there. Doubt you will care about this and don't expect to hear from anyone but this was wrong about the beaches. We found other places to go that were very nice and the people were super there. Too bad Santa Rosa did not make that list! Lee

Cute house but..

Cute house but too close to surrounding houses. Gravel road made carrying chairs and umbrellas to beach arduous. Back porch was nice but backed up to neighbor’s house that looked like junk yard. Upholstered furniture could use a deep clean. Kitchen needs new frying pans. One kitchen towel and dirty pot holder in kitchen. Management responded quickly to issues.

Amazing week!

Our family came for the week and had a wonderful time!! We have been coming to 30A for 12 years and the location is the BEST spot!!! The home is warm and cozy. It was very clean, had plenty of towels and everything you could ever need for a week on vacation!! We will be back next year!!

Floors, furnishings, porches and oh yes, location!

What a pleasure to stay in a beach rental that's not all tile and laminated furniture. This lovely home was so comfortable because of the thoughtfulness and quality of the living room furniture, soft (real) wood flooring and antiques. Practical and pretty. We loved sitting on the sun-splashed back screened porch for breakfast and rocking on the front porch watching the sunset turn the clouds pink over the pines. Lovely!

Charming Beach House in the woods

This charming house nestled in the woods was the perfect getaway for my family. There were a total of 6 of us. 4 teenagers and my husband and I. We rented bikes and rode to the beach daily. The beach was located in the perfect spot. Not too crowded and absolutely beautiful. The house was perfect for our group. Teenagers upstairs and us in the master downstairs. It was the perfect beach bungalow. I love the quiet and peaceful feel of this home. It was decorated beautifully. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would have loved for the home to already have bikes or a golf cart to make it easier. But all in all it was perfect for our family :)

Quietude

Great property. Had everything you would need. Lots of towels, which was great. Kitchen was very well equipped - best equipped rental kitchen we've ever stayed in. Back screened in porch was great with the fans. Unfortunately got several mosquito bites by sitting on front porch. Quite a walk to the beach but was easy for us. Only drawback was the closest access to beach was by wading through brackish water. Very quiet neighborhood and overall a great place to stay. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect stay

We had a great time in this little house. We had rented a golf cart which is definitely needed to get back and forth to the beach with kids and belongings. There was always available parking on Eastern Lake. The house sits within a neighborhood full of trees and we didn’t feel any of the high winds associated with the storms. The porches were great for sitting and relaxing and the area is incredibly peaceful. The beds were comfortable. It was well cleaned. Check in is as stated. Your code will not work until the said time. It may be empty and 3:59 but you will not have access til 4:00. There are two codes to get to the pool. The boardwalk code was correct but the pool code had been changed. We called Benchmark and received the correct code within 5 minutes. The pool is small but it was always empty and big enough for our family by all means. We crossed over to the beach through Eastern Lake so be prepared for that. It wasn’t an issue for us but if you aren’t expecting it and you have a beach wagon, then you would need to enter on the west end vs the east end.

Great spot for a family/friend vacay!

This house was perfect, exactly as described. Plenty of space for us to enjoy our days and let the kids play. House is located on a quiet gravel street. Bit of a walk to the beach, but very easily navigated with toting our kids/gear in a bike trailer and/or wagon. Overall, this was a great place for us to stay! Would recommend that the cleaning company do a deep clean under the furniture, as we found much dirt/dust underneath (super aware of this with having littles crawling!) Really loved having the additional full bath on the lower floor.

Very charming cottage!

We have stayed on 30 A for seven years now, and We loved our cottage! We had 6 people, me, my 24 yr old niece, 2-20 yr olds and 2-17 yr olds. Kitchen was very well stocked, we cook and stay in most nights so that was great! Only 2 kitchen towels
?? We played lots of games at the dining room table after dinner, and movies after! Very comfortable and cozy! There are pictures of a beautiful screened in back porch that we were locked out of
couldn’t use, That was frustrating as the pics show it’s awesome and we wanted to sit out w coffee, make a phone call, my 2 college students wanted out there to complete online assignments
no such luck. If it is not available to the tenants, please remove the pictures! Our two biggest problems, was finding our beach access, and finding beach chair rental that would service that far down on the beach. The rental agency gave us a number, and that gentleman did not have access that far down on the beach. He was kind enough to give us several local companies that do have access. That was very frustrating and difficult finding someone who can accommodate chairs and umbrellas. The actual location of our beach access was very difficult as well. We found Eastern Lake Access with no problem, but did not want to have to wade through all of the water to get to the beach. We chose Rams gate access, and thankfully the sweet next door neighbor who is a local, gave us perfect directions. After finding our beach boardwalk, we made the real quick decision to throw everything in one car every morning, have one of the teenagers drive us to the boardwalk, drive back to the house, and ride bikes to the boardwalk. I do not know if we would stay there again, because of the difficulty in getting to the beach every day. But the house itself was absolutely wonderful!!

Beautifully kept house, stocked well, comfortable beds & loved the screened in porch.

The beach is not as quick of a walk as the rest makes it sound, but quick with a bike or golf cart. Great little house though.
