The Sandman is always great. It was surprisingly quiet at night even on the busy graduation weekend. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there were a few things we noticed: food trash left a the pool overnight was scattered about by the birds, and our room had food left in the microwave and M&M's on the floor. Nothing that would keep us from staying again, The Sandman is our go-to when we visit Santa Rosa.

I was here visiting for my little sister’s graduation this weekend. The refrigerator cabinet was rotten and moldy, no phone provided in the room, extension cords hanging under nightstand, carpets filthy. A random person also came on the property and was following me while I took my dog out at night and was screaming some really inappropriate stuff that made the rest of my stay extremely uncomfortable not knowing if they were going to come back or not after they had left. This was all on surveillance and the staff working late night helped me best they could. But the next morning when I called management they were 0 help to me and my frustration. I will never stay here again. My other family members I invited and who rented room here also endured this. It was very uncomfortable and I felt worried for my whole family. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re a female or have young children with you it’s unsafe.

The Sandman was great!

Our stay at The Sandman was great. We were there for a race and had planned to leave to another destination afterwards. And timing wasn't on our side for that day. And the manager accommodated us for another night stay. All the staff were super nice! And the pool and hot tub was nice. Although on our last night, it would've been nice to enjoy the hot tub after a long day. But the hot tub was full of young kids for a birthday party. They should've only been in the pool, not the hot tub. Other than that, everything was great!
