Hotel Bardo in Savannah is undeniably charming—beautiful décor, cozy vibes, and an overall cute, boutique-style feel. Our weekend stay was enjoyable, but a few things kept it from being perfect.
The hotel was completely sold out, which slightly impacted our experience as we were placed in an accessible room. While it was still very nice, it wasn’t our first choice. The pool bar was a highlight with great drinks and a relaxing atmosphere, but they ran out of towels due to an issue, which was a bit inconvenient.
Food-wise, the menu was very limited, and while it was okay, it didn’t wow us. One downside was the inside hotel bar—unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem the friendliest toward us, and at one point, we felt a bit invisible.
Overall, Hotel Bardo is a stylish and comfortable place to stay for a weekend getaway. Some staff improvements and a few operational tweaks could easily make this a five-star experience.
