This property has preserved as much of its history as possible. The rooms are cozy with all the necessary amenities like individual thermostat, tv, and refrigerator. Bath robes are available in the closet. There is entertainment each night. We listened to a pianist and guitarist as well as a historian. The complimentary wine and cheese flowed throughout the 1.5 hours each night. There are receptionists and valet attendants at your request. The breakfast was simple and served to you by their special staff. Coffee is available around the clock. We have stayed at The Marshall House several times. Never disappointed.

Wonderful!

Thanks again to Carlton for finding my mom's debit card and returning it! The entire staff was super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese - especially the historian. Coffee at breakfast was a little weak for our taste, but the front desk recommended Cup to Cup coffee.

Very antique and beautiful inside, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Despite a lack of amenities they made the most of what they could with the wine and cheese reception which was lovely and the breakfast was no joke the best I’ve had in my life. My major gripe is that it’s very pricey which is expected but there’s not enough amenities that even typical budget hotels would have to justify the price point. Otherwise a fine experience

Best bang for your buck! Historic hotel with a fun story and great atmosphere. Perfect spot to leave the hotel and instantly shop and eat. Parking was surprisingly easy and way cheaper than I thought. We stayed here with our 3 kids and we'll never stay elsewhere!

The hotel succeeded in providing a good balance between old world charm and the modern living. The room, though small, was tasteful decorated. The bed was comfortable. Included in the fee was breakfast for two at the adjoining restaurant, and it was delicious. A high point was the wine and cheese social at 5:30 in the sitting area. One night featured a guitar player and the next night featured a trivia game. The hotel is situated in a very walkable area, with shopping and dining available. We walked to the river from there. The Marshall House is a great place from which to see some of Savannah.

What a great time.

We had a great time. The hotel was beautiful. We really enjoyed the wine hour. There was music provided as well.

Really nice older property that has been updated with aspects of old combined with modern amenities. They have lots of touches that make the stay so nice including a really good breakfast and a wine and cheese hour in the evening along with entertainment. Staff is great!

I’d give this hotel 5 stars for the location, staff and evening amenities including entertainment and a wine and cheese hour. Overall I give it 3 stars because where I spent the most time- the bed- was terrible with uncomfortable and saggy mattress. One star at best- The sheets were not crisply pressed but some sort of material that was just folded after the dryer. The pillows were not the quality that this price hotel should be supplying. Also chilly as no comforter or blanket under the ok white spread. If you fon The showers were tiny in the non- bathtub rooms- the towels were adequate.
