We love The President's Quarters Inn

We had a fantastic 2-night stay. Scarlett is a wonderful hostess, personable and does all she can to make sure guests feel welcome and appreciated.The A/C was fantastic as was the water pressure. Breakfast was so good and a great way to start the day. Happy hour included a delicious wine selection to start off your evening. I took off one star for comfort based on the bed mattress. We prefer something firmer. We will be back!

Absolutely awful. Do not recommend. I booked this property knowing it had mixed reviews. I like to support independent businesses, and while I was aware the rooms might be dark and a little noisy I was happy with this, on the expectation that the accommodation would have a little more character and charm. When I arrived at around 8pm, I went to take a shower. After running the water for a good 5 minutes, it was still cold. I popped out to inform reception, in the hope they could help. I was told I had to wait for the water to warm up; when I said I’d already been waiting a little while the receptionist said I should check out. While I thought this was odd, I wasn’t keen on staying somewhere where there was no hot water (especially at £280 per night) so I went to pack my bag and find alternative accommodation. When I returned to reception, I was asked if I had found an alternative accommodation, to which I replied I had. When I requested a refund for the accommodation, the receptionist began shouting and swearing at me. He took my key, not permitting me to stay in the hotel (not that I would have wanted to at that point) and also refused a refund. He also refused to call management when requested. Fortunately, the hotel has since refunded my money. Leaving a lone female traveller in this position is unsafe. Please do not stay here. There is much nicer accommodation available for a similar price.

The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. The staff, especially Scarlet and Gracen were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to answer questions, help with in-room WiFi, and with local recommendations. Ground floor location of room was sometimes noisy from bar patrons across the street, horses--not a huge issue but did wake us up occasionally. Would have liked to have had an every other day housekeeping refresh of the room with at least clean towels.

Absolute Gem, Fantastic Stay!

My wife and I visited Savannah for our anniversary and spent four nights at this amazing inn. All the staff that we met were friendly and helpful, Gracen and Scarlett in particular had great recommendations for local sights to check out. The breakfast is not to be missed. During our stay we had biscuits and gravy; eggs, bacon, and potatoes; french toast with praline butter and sausage; and a breakfast burrito (eggs, sausage, cheese, and salsa) with potatoes and fresh fruit. They also offer a complimentary wine hour in the late afternoon if you want a chance to decompress between sightseeing and dinner. The inn’s location is perfect for navigating downtown Savannah. We were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to explore in 15 minutes or less apart from Bonaventure Cemetery, which was only about a 10-minute drive. The room itself struck a nice balance between vintage charm in the furniture and decor and modern convenience with A/C and recently remodeled bathrooms. We will absolutely be coming back the next time we’re in Savannah. Presidents’ Quarters Inn is truly a fantastic find! P.S. Send our regards to Manager Meowy, their adopted cat turned manager. She runs a tight ship 😊

From our easy and friendly check in with Grayson, and our breakfast service with Scarlet everything was perfect. I don’t recall the chef’s name, but everything she made was superb and even shared her homemade granola recipe. We will definitely be back, we felt right at home.
