Perfect property for a show at Climate Pledge. Super close to the venue, as well as lots of restaurants and bars. I love the pineapple theme, too. The hotel was fun and the staff were friendly.

Overrated for the price

The best part about this place is the location and the fun/funky lobby/bar. It is a great place to stay but we were unsure why it was so expensive. It was a three star hotel at a four or five star price. If you can get a decent deal then stay here, otherwise it’s not really worth it. Also, we were put in an ADA room so the bathroom, shower, and all the features in the room were for that which made it unclear why we were put there and not for us.

I absolutely love this hotel. This was my second time staying here. I unfortunately have to give it four stars this time around because my room this time around (#402) sounded like it was placed over a jet engine. A loud, low murmuring all night made it very hard to sleep. Reminded me of sleeping on a cruise ship or something. Was super disappointed about this but everything else was fantastic.

I was in room 313 the floor directly above me had kids running and jumping until after midnight… on my ceiling. I called the front desk and asked them if they could help, he said he would but the party upstairs didn’t let up until close to 1:00AM…. I probably didn’t give my best presentation this morning. Do the hotels give us the crappy rooms close to the noisy guest because we booked through a 3rd party?

The stay itself was great. Im giving a 1 star for the unexpect $84.95 fee to have wifi and watch regular tv. This fee wasnt in the hotels.com listing before booking, I was notified during check in.

Fun boutique hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maxwell Hotel. We chose it to be walking distance to Seattle Center and it was a comfortable walk to the space needle. I was disappointed that there was a daily amenities fee that wasn’t included in the hotels.com price that we had to pay when checked in. The fee said that included bikes to borrow, a free beverage from bar or cafe, free coffee, and unlimited filtered water. They offered free coffee in the lobby, but only from 12-3pm… not usually when I drink coffee or when we were in the hotel. It didn’t seem they were offering much more for that fee that doesn’t come standard in a chain hotel. However, the atmosphere was really fun and heavy of the pineapple theme. They were very eco-conscious and super friendly and helpful. We didn’t bring our dogs, but we would definitely do so if the opportunity arose. Down side for our visit was their oven wasn’t working for the entire week we’re there, so no hot food at the restaurant. The tv kept turning on and off in the middle of the night and would turn off while we were watching it. It was random so we were able to just turn back on, but it was annoying. The positives will far outweigh the mere annoyances in our memories of our stay.
