Clean, Very spacious, getaway with comfortable beds. Perfect for our small chorus retreat! One note, not ADA friendly, though...lots of level changes, stairs. We had a guest in a wheelchair, but we managed and would definitely come back! Widening the doorway in the barn would be a helpful accomodation.

Overall everything was great and it was a cool house. We couldn't get the grill to work outside and the upstairs bunk room was hot even with the AC blasting. I would still recommend this place. I wish there was access to the water from the house, but there is water access close.

Great family time

Although a little dated and quirky, this place was very accommodating and fun for our large family to stay. Most beds were very comfortable, and we had such a wonderful time in the game room. There are several community spaces throughout the house to hang out and visit in. It's a great space! Sarah was awesome to work with. She checked in via text to see how we were doing/if we needed anything. Loved it and would definitely stay again. Thank you!!

Lake Vacation

The place was a lot bigger than expected. We had a big family to accommodate and there was plenty of room and lots to do. There’s a marina close by and a sandy beach 25 minutes away. Grocery store was only 15 minutes away. Communication with the manger was amazing, we had issues with the Wi-Fi and got help instantly. All in all the family had an amazing time, would recommend for anyone with a large group.

Great Place for Retreat

Our church group booked this home for a retreat this past weekend. It was a fantastic space for our group. Plenty of room and plenty of activities. Communication was great and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Highly recommend.

Fun get away

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Though it is an older home, it seems to have been maintained well. Then mancave was an ideal hangout for everyone. It doesn't have lake access, but you can hike down the road to some access. We met some of the neighbors and had a fun time getting to know all about the Hodag. It's an urban legend. The great thing about this home is there were many different spaces for everyone to do various activities. The internet is a country internet, so not meant to support multiple devices streaming. Other than that it was a wonderful week!

This is a great place for large families or groups. Plenty of nicely remodeled bathrooms and comfortable beds. The gameroom in the shop was a great place to hang out in the evenings.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. 8 adults and nine children ages 5-19. We used the kitchen extensively to save from eating out so much, and it worked fine. The primary bedroom we stayed in was nice, large and a bathroom nearby. The problem was two of the four adult couples had poor bed accommodations. One couple had to use bunk beds, and the other couple had to use an inflatable bed they brought. There were two “fold out couches” but they were very uncomfortable . The other beds were for kids over in the “play gym”. None of the adults would have wanted to stay over there. The play house honestly was not very clean in the two bedrooms over there. The four window AC unit’s filters were FULL of dirt; one kept shutting off til we took the filters off. Quite a few bugs over there, along with broken pool cues and broken ping pong paddles. “Hayley” was very responsive to our concerns and tried. Lastly, the gas barbecue grill was a total dirty mess! One daughter in law spent a solid hour cleaning it for it to be usable (we had planned hamburgers for one meal). It also had two broken burners as well. A concern for safety for sure. A broken chair in the the main house but think that was about it. We were thankful for the size of the place for our large family, family.

Overall Not Bad

The house of a thousand light switches! Not gonna lie we had a lot of fun trying to figure out which switch went to which light. House was clean and ready. One bedroom isn’t really a bedroom as it’s a pass through to a bathroom. This is important if you need or expect privacy from a 6 bedroom listing. Staff was great at communicating and home was functional for our purposes. Families will love this place but for our purposes losing the privacy of bedroom 6 was a deal breaker for next year.
