Nice hotel on business estate

Nice hotel but difficult to find without sat nav . Some roads signs would help. Freindly staff nice breakfast even with no eggs. Very quiet location.

I had a really great stay; the staff were excellent. However, upon walking around the local area I saw an aggressive, young man trying to steal things from behind some of the properties in th area. Better security is required.

The breakfast was good. The bed comfort was okay too. Basic necessities such as shower gel and shampoo was provided. Good value for money. I choose Holiday inn over other hotels as I prefer hot breakfast and no parking issues.

Great hotel, lovely staff.

A cheeky last minute booking at a great price including breakfast. It was our first time in the area and this hotel did not disappoint. The check-in was quick and easy, the hardest thing was remembering my car registration for the free parking! The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful too. She informed us about the bar and restaurant opening hours and when the very generous buffet style breakfast would be served in the morning. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and the room had air-conditioning. The shower in the bathroom was nice and hot and powerful too with good sized fluffy towels too. The tea and coffee making facilities in the room were the usual sachets and UHT milk, so not the best, but we knew we'd get a decent proper brew in the morning with our cooked breakfast in the restaurant so that wasn't a problem. The hotel was busy for a Sunday night and even though the carpark is a good size it was still quite full when we returned after an afternoon in Shrewsbury ( which is a lovely place to visit with plenty of character and only a ten-fifteen minute drive away). The restaurant was also very busy at breakfast and all seats were taken when we arrived but thankfully the helpful staff directed us to the lounge area with extra tables and chairs set out as an overflow. The breakfast was varied and plentiful with a choice of cereals, pastries, cakes, fruit and yoghurt and of course the obligatory cooked breakfast too. Num num.
