We stayed in a king suite. The room was a little dated but in good condition overall. The bed was very comfortable. I didn’t care for the layout of the room. It was an “L” shape with the window around the corner from the rest of the space resulting in a very dark room. I probably wouldn’t pay extra for a suite in the future. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the breakfast. Overall, it was a good value and we would stay here again.

The breakfast ran out really early with the workers staying there. I got there at 8:15 and the few sausage patties left were very well done. Staff was very friendly. Room was old and a little beat up but the a/c worked fine.

First thing there was only 1 cart for the whole hotel. Then they sent us to a room that someone else was clearly living in. Then we had to move all our stuff to a different room. Our TV was not working, only had a political channel that was working!!!! The worker could not fix the TV & said that he would "find someone" After over an hour no one had come to our room. Finally he came back after we asked him, to try again.He suggested moving to a different room AGAIN!!!!!! He said it was his 1st day on the job. We also had to ask for a roll out bed that just barely fit in the room. Had to put the foot stool into the chair to make room for the bed. In the morning when we were going to check out the guy was sitting on a chair in front entry way. He said we were all done!!!! I HAD to ask for my receipt Will never stay there again, ever.

This is a small town and I'm sure the Ragbrai crowd was not the normal occupancy for this location, but the check-in person was not welcoming or friendly. Went to the room and used the restroom and then went to dry my hands on a towel, and there was what appeared to be a TURD stuck to the supposedly "unused" towel. I carried it to the front and requested clean towel but she really didn't even offer much of an apology. Later on while showering, I noticed that a dirty, used washrag was hanging from the shower curtain.

Needs a refurb. Nice beds and staff

Very nice staff. Hallways smelled like old cigarettes. Room smelled musty. Phone and underside of toilet was uncleaned. Towels were supet thin. Beds were great. AC was good.

The bed was comfortable, clean room. Delicious breakfast. The A/C unit was loud, and worked great. Black out curtains had holes in it. Pool was too cool.
