I didn’t get much sleep. At 0800 in the morning someone was using a very loud blower to clean the parking lot. I asked the front desk if they could stop the noise but it continued for another hour.

I paid $200 a night in room 0028. It was very noisy as the breakfast dining area was directly above my room. Every time a chair was moved it made a loud screeching sound. This started at 6:00 am both days. Asked staff about a reduction in rates, they wouldn’t accommodate. I would never stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel. The area it’s in is so nice. I wish we would’ve had a better experience however. We arrived to our hotel room to the window curtain being broken so we were unable to look out or let the morning sunlight in. Also our lock on our door had a dead battery. So we were locked out of our room till the ONE staff member could help us get in. I think for a booked hotel there should be a maintenance person there at all times. The front desk guy was not even certain he could get our door open ( that all our clothes, cell phones and car keys were in.) Thank God he was able to get us in. He told us that they would typically move us for safety reasons but we’re booked completely and couldn’t move us. That’s reassuring. We would’ve loved to utilize the breakfast in the morning but for fear of not getting back into the room we skipped and checked out as soon as we woke up. Great job to the front desk guy for doing what he could in a packed hotel. Do better to help your staff members. We would love to give this place another try one day on better circumstances. This just wasn’t very pleasant for this one.
