Vicki and her staff are wonderful. They will transport you anywhere you want to go. Near the Raptor Center and the memorial park. Unsure that walking there at night is safe.

The staff is very accommodating. Bear spray can be borrowed for excursions out into bear territory. "Breakfast" is self-serve and available 24/7 with a wide selection of quick grab items, including bagels and cream cheese, donuts, pastries, bread, cereal, coffee, and juices. Laundry is available 24/7 with no additional charge. The staff will do pick-up/drop-off service to/from the airport with schedule. The bed was incredibly soft and clean. A great place to stay in Sitka.

Really nice, family run motel

From the courtesy pickup at the airport, to help with my lost phone (dropped-and found-in the van), we had a very pleasant stay at this family run motel just a couple minutes away from downtown Sitka. While amenities were sparse, everything needed was there and it was clean and comfortable. A short walk to the Raptor Center, too.

Vickie was super helpful and personable. We were allowed to check in early which really helped us out. The room was clean and spacious. The building was relatively old but in good shape. I would recommend this anyone needing a one or two night stay. Its about a 5 min drive into town and food within walking distance is very limited.

From talking over the phone was very pleasant, i was stuck in Seattle Washington. Due to Alaska Airlines outage, so i never had a change to visit the hotel. Overall i give em 10 for trying to meet me when transportation was after 10:30pm.

Great place to stay in Sitka

We had a great stay. Vicky is a great host. She picked us up and took us to the airport.There are snacks and drinks available all day. She let us into our room early. She told us about the area. I can't wait to stay there again!

Vickie was great. We had a long delayed flight so we got in at 2AM. A staff member quickly drove to the inn to let us in and check us in. There is a great supply of stuff for a continental breakfast. A quick walk to diwntown Sitka.

Clean and friendly

Staff extremely friendly, hotel is very clean and location was great for me since I was visiting family. I would call this hotel a hidden gem. Breakfast available daily and we had a room with the bay view.

Very simple and reliable breakfast each morning that was available whenever you needed it. Staff was very friendly. It is located above a strip mall below; however, once inside, it is clean and feels recently updated.

Very clean. Miss Vicky was a stitch and very helpful. Property not much to look at, but front rooms have nice view of water. Property is quite a ways from downdown, just barely walkable. For the price we paid, we expected at least a box of tissues in the room. Not too much to ask?

Wonderful place to stay...

This hotel is like a motel situation, but the people that run it are wonderful and very accommodating! The room was clean and spacious, and the the bathroom too! It is called Eagle Bay because there are really lots of bald eagles there.Incredible!
