The hotel has easy access for handicapped - elevator to second floor and end doors to shorten the walking distance. Easy access from the main road through the town - back from the road just enough to get away from road noise - which isn't bad anyway. The rooms are clean and spacious to be accessible for walkers. The front desk is manned at all times.

Quick check in and friendly staff. Excellent amenities within the room. Nice view especially of the river on the back side of the property. They do not offer breakfast options but the coffee bar in the lobby was nice. Lots of shopping options and grocery stores nearby. Highly recommended.

My room was very quiet and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but I loved it. There were a few things that got missed when cleaning, but I doubt it would happen twice. The pool and hot tub were glorious.

It was a nice stay but the pool and hot tub were out of order the entire time of our stay. I would have enjoyed the hot tub and pool if it was open.

We stayed at the Aspen Hotel in Soldotna primarily because it advertised a pool, which was a big deal for our family—especially our child. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found out the pool was not operable. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since the hotel’s website did not mention it was out of service. It led to a very upset kid, and we likely would have chosen a different place if we had known in advance. That said, the rest of the stay was fine. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. Staff were friendly, and the location is convenient. Just be sure to call ahead and confirm amenities before booking.

I researched which hotel to stay at by which one had a hot tub and pool. According to the website they had a hot tub in pool so I booked my trip I get there and they said they no longer have been offering the pool and the hot tub. So why is it on the website the first place. Extremely disappointed it really pissed me off.
