Welcome to the Tally Ho Suite! This is a very charming private one bedroom (queen bed), one bath, guest apartment on our beautiful horse farm in Southern Pines, NC.
Located just 3 miles from the delightfully charming downtown of Southern Pines, and just miles from the golf mecca of Pinehurst.

The suite is appointed with coffee & tea, microwave, small fridge, oven/stove, sink and utensils for cooking at home. Smart TV and central air.

Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is available for purchase. It is delivered to your suite. When you book your reservation, you will receive a link to make your breakfast purchase. $30/morning (for 2 people)

Nestled in the beautiful Sandhills Region of North Carolina, Tanglewood Farm is a working equestrian farm and bed and breakfast. The horse facility was once used as a US Olympic training facility, and is now primarily used as an eventing competition training farm. If you stay at Tanglewood Farm, you will most likely get the chance to witness some exciting jump training, as our farm is located next to many training facilities, including some owned by Olympic riders and trainers.

Tanglewood Farm offers guests peaceful accommodations, breathtaking views of Southern Pines Horse Country and a quiet respite from everyday life. From a friendly free range chicken welcome upon your arrival, to weekend breakfast brought to your room, you will feel right at home at Tanglewood Farm.

Take a stroll along the farm and observe the horses, chickens and other wildlife in their everyday routines, or relax with a glass of wine and a good book on a patio right outside your door. Spend the day enjoying the highlights of the Sandhills area, including Seagrove Pottery, Weymouth Center, the Pinehurst Harness Track. Shop for art and beautiful clothes in downtown Southern Pines and Pinehurst, go antiquing in Cameron, golfing at one of the hundreds of golf courses, or hiking at Weymouth Woods. End your night with a delicious meal at one of our many fine restaurants. Whatever the season, a myriad of activities await you in Southern Pines --North Carolina's best keep getaway secret!

During your stay, enjoy fine dining at one of Moore County's gourmet restaurants in Southern Pines, Aberdeen and Pinehurst. The farm is just a three minute drive to the amazing restaurants of downtown Southern Pines. Try Red's Corner Food Truck Park, Ashten's, Chef Warren's or 195 for some amazing locally grown goodness! Grab a local brew at The Bell Tree Tavern or The Sly Fox, and top off your night with some live music at The Jefferson Inn. When you are ready to retire, curl up with a good book or DVD from your en-suite library and drift away to dreamland!

Dogs are allowed but must be pre-approved. $50 pet fee per dog per stay (2 dog max). Dogs must remain on leash on the premises and cannot be left unattended.

Children are welcome but must be closely attended by guardian at all times. Horses are unpredictable animals and we take everyone's safety very seriously. We ask that they do not run around the horses or barns, as horses tend to spook easily and can injure themselves and others. The kiddos love feeding the chickens and watching them roam free around the farm but please do not feed the horses!

Bringing your horse? We rent out stalls for $40/night, includes 2 bags of shavings. We require proof of negative Coggins.

Cozy Place to Stay

This is our second visit to the area and our second stay at Tanglewood Farm, but in a different unit — both very nice.My title says it. This is a lovely and cozy place to stay with all the amenities one would need. The setting is bucolic with chickens that greet you. A big plus for us was that our dogs were allowed to come along. Should we travel to the area again, the farm will be our first choice for a place to stay.

Attention to detail

The Tally Ho suite was exactly as described. Nice attention to details with a farmhouse chic vibe. Chickens are friendly and will walk right in if you let them. Relaxing in my suite was the highlight of a long day of walking and shopping.Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

We really enjoyed are time in Southern Pines. Walking around the farm and seeing the horses was such a treat. Lindsay and Randy were great hosts and full of information about the area. We hope to be back.

Serene and lovely convenient location in Southern Pines. Took my dog and we strolled around the grounds observing all the horse,chickens and squirrels. She loved it I loved it. Lindsey is a 5star baker and her breakfasts are delicious and very creative. I couldn’t help but relax and recharge. I needed the time too, I was playing golf 3 days in a row. Location was perfect for anything around Pinehurst and Sanford.

Charming Horse Farm

Relaxing and Enjoyable! We love the area. Appreciate the host accommodating our change of travel dates. Pleasant walking around their property and seeing the beautiful horses. A+ - I had a B&B several years ago . . . . this place is so delightful, made me want one again! The surrounds are gorgeous - gardens, trees, lovely back porch, interesting activities & animals to watch, peaceful setting, room to breathe, personable host, (in spite of being incredibly busy!), and everything you need in your room . . . . plus great proximity to Southern Pines area!!

Delightful

Traveling a long distance can be tiring and stressful, especially during a pandemic. We booked a suite at the Tanglewood Farm B&B to break up the drive ‘to and from’ Georgia and Virginia. The VRBO photos and description of Tanglewood Farm look good but do not convey the delightful feel of the place. The Tanglewood Farm B&B is serene, cozy, extremely clean and comfortable. It is a peaceful, scenic and unique place that made what was meant to be just a pit stop feel like a vacation. We didn’t want to leave and we hope to stay longer than just one night next time we book a stay there.

Perfect getaway

This was our 2nd visit to Tanglewood Farm-so relaxing-quiet-peaceful. Lindsay is a great host-answering text very promptly and so nice We love that we can bring our dog & enjoy the free range chickens, Rocky & Clifford the horses & now the rabbits. Within 5 minutes to Southern Pines & 15 minutes to Pinehurst-greatest golf in the US. Some of the best dining anywhere. Ashten’s for dinner & The Track is a must for breakfast. Already planning our next visit in the summer
