I love that it was pet friendly and the rooms were clean. The WiFi worked well and the TV had a lot of movie and channel options. The breakfast was also a nice touch. The only thing was the water damage on the ceilings in my room. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the sheets were very thin. That said, the cost was very reasonable and it was in central, convenient location. I’d stay again if ever in the area.

Sewage smell in hallway both days, the fridge was VERY loud and traffic/train sounds all night I guess from being not very insulated against outside sounds. Other than that not bad, but not really good either.

The building was spacious inside. The halls were spacious and the rooms were spacious. Also, the folks at the front desk were very welcoming and gracious. I will recommend GreenStay to all mt family and friends.

The rooms are DARK because they try to be Green, but we found the room to have only about 3 very dim lamps. They definitely save money on electricity!! The place is somewhat run down. Breakfast was the usual.

Confused by the high rating of this place

I was definitely let down. Had much higher expectations from reviews and photos (I’m usually not a sucker for the typical nice photos of a place that turns out to be not so nice). Lobby was small and hot (no A/C), staff very nice and friendly, room kind of dingy, A/C unit malodorous, outside window stained from hard water or maybe mildew, room furniture worn and old looking, carpet worn and suspect (I kept my shoes on til getting in bed), bathroom air vent covered with dust, and probably the worst thing was the stink of the pillows - don’t know if it was the pillow or pillow case (which appeared clean) but it was just a staleness or sweaty/dirty head smell. I pulled a newer looking pillowcase off another pillow and laid it on top. It was late and that was the only option at that point. Definitely would not stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights as I traveled for a funeral. I selected this hotel based on the ratings. When we first arrived, I had to tighten the toilet seat, which was barely screwed on. Its a fairly easy job since you can access the plastic screws from the top and a nut with a phlange underneath the toilet. I'm not sure why the person installing it couldn't tighten the nuts or the people cleaning it hadn't noticed it was loose. We also boticed the toilet was not flushing and the front desk called maintenance who had the problem fixed quickly. Areas of the bathroom like the tub caulk were showing wear or were dirty. The lighting over the 2 mirrors was very dim as was the lighting by the bed and desk. The matresses and pillows could use an upgrade. All but 1 of the 6 pillows were flat and the mattresses had no cushion to them at all. The breakfast was standard microwave scrambled eggs and sausage that tasted odd plus a lot of prepackaged or highly processed foods. If it weren't for the friendly staff, I would have given this hotel a lower rating.
