We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The refrigerator was dirty. Something had spilled in the bottom drawer. The shelves were dirty as well. The microwave was dirty, something was spilled down the front of the dishwasher and it was obvious it had not been cleaned in quite some time. I didn’t open it.
There were dead bugs all along where the carpet meets the trim. There were dead bugs that looked a bit like roaches in the corner of the bathroom, surrounded by cob webs.
The mattress on the pull-out couch was filthy. There were stains all over it. I also found a pair of rolled up socks under the ottoman in the bedroom. There was a chewed up Nerf dart in the living area.
The pool was closed, but we were able to walk to the sister hotel and use the pool there. That pool was very nice. It was just very cold outside and a little inconvenient.
I was very disappointed. This was our 4th year staying at this hotel. We will not be staying there again.
I did call and speak to a manager. They gave me 20% of my bill back. I’m not one to typically complain, but it was really dirty and I’m not sure 20% back was enough.
The staff was very nice!
