The room smelled awful when we checked in. It was a bit of a sewer smell. When we talked to the front desk they told us there was nothing they could do. The. We never heard any follow up during our 2 night stay. There are tons of options in St. George - choose something else.

Overall, it was a good hotel. My wife and I stayed for 6 nights. Two things about the hotel really, really disappointed and annoyed me, though. One, we had nowhere to put our clothes. There were no drawers to put my and my wife's clothes in. There was no closet or armoire either. There was a pipe on the wall with 3 hangers. We were there for a week, and brought enough clothes to not have to do laundry. I went to Walmart and bought a tote to put clothes in and hangers for the wall pole. Two, there was no safe in the room or at the front desk so I had to take my laptop with me every time I left the hotel. If you're alone and only staying one night, Tru is great. If you're staying multiple nights, or have 2 or more people, find somewhere else to stay unless you really like literally living out of a suitcase.

The hotel, staff and breakfast were great. The room was very small and we were on the highway side and the highway noise was very loud. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice.
