Save Your Money!

We were assigned room 102 which is downstairs from the main lobby and right next to the exterior door (metal fire door). That area outside the door is a designated SMOKING area, which is apparent because of the standing ashtrays they have next to the door. People were in and out all night until about 2 am, the door banged every time they came opened it. They were loud and standing outside the door drinking and smoking. Every time the door opened, smoked entered the hallway and right into our room. Our room wreaked of cigarette and marijuana smoke all night. Things quieted down for a few hours and then the smoking traffic picked up again around 5:30 am. Literally the worst stay I have had in a very long time. I complained the next morning and was told the manager would reach out and award us points to the BW Rewards account I have. It's been 4 days, we've heard nothing. Sadly, this reflects on the chain as a whole and we will never utilize Best Western again.

Everything was fine during my stay. Just a small detail. The reception leaves the pool door open and all the cold of the reception enters. Leaving it closed is the solution.

Great place to stay

The hotel was just off the highway behind a Crackle Barrel restaurant. It has a nice pool that was surprisingly salt water filter so it is not as hard on your skin and hair. The only drawback about the pool was it was cold and it didn’t seem to be filtering as much because there was often on hair just floating around, but there wasn’t a lot. It just probably needed a little more cleaning. The beds felt hard at first, but overall they were actually quite restful. I got a great night sleep. The ACs were amazing especially in the summer and it was quite not like a lot of busy traffic going by. You could not hear the highway at all. There was a QT just down the road which what I thought was great. You could explore St Louis Mo great from the location of the hotel. They have a hot breakfast with WAFFLES!! The hotel had a cute workout room. I also like that you need a room key to access the hotel and workout area. In the evenings, they had a cute little popcorn machine, and you could get popcorn. I would stay at this hotel again.

Home away from home!

Weather was great! The indoor pool was clean and wonderful! Our room was cozy and clean and smelled amazing (no cigarettes smell of mold smell)! They offered housekeeping every single day for fresh bedding and towels and trash pickup and just to straighten up!! And the price was wonderful it wasn't too expensive at all for a three-night stay! I would definitely go back!!! In the day shift front counter guy was incredible!! Highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The staff was so nice (front desk, kitchen staff, and housekeepers). Breakfast—-terrible. They only have eggs and sausage. The yogurt machine was out. Oatmeal out. Muffins stale. The waffles and cereal (no issues). That’s all on the menu. They did have apple and orange juice, milk. I must say, the hot water was great. You actually got hot water and that’s rare. Bed hard, I mean hard, blankets thin. They do supply enough linen and towels which is great. The facility was clean. Breakfast ends at 9am. I’ve never heard of that. So many had children and was so upset when they went down for breakfast at around 0930.
