I LOVE this place! Literally on the water. Out the front door, great people watching. Out the back door, watch the wading birds when the tide recedes with views of the Dunedin Causeway. Steps from a great bar and world class restaurant! A sunsets and that good included breakfast room with percolator coffee!

The location and newly remolded rooms and area were very nice. Breakfast ok. I was bit disappointed that there was no shop to get sundries or drinks -apparently will be done in the future. Also, despite being told cleaning service was daily they never did our room over the three days we were there. I think the trick is to be out of your room early.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was freshly renovated since the hurricane and was very clean. Unfortunately there was some sort of electric issue which resulted in our room having the power turn on and off in the early hours of the AM waking my daughter and I up. Manager was apologetic, called in the maintenance person early and offered us a partial refund. Though our room did have that issue, I’d still recommend this hotel as I think it was a one off as the staff seem to be responsive. Location is amazing!

The hotel was under construction, our toilet did not work, and there was construction dust on our room's surfaces. Usually, I would let a poor rating slide since construction happens. However, the front desk attendant was very defensive, dismissive and unapologetic. I know they have hard jobs, so I held my tongue :)

Location, location

Located on the water and easy walking distance to the little town. The first night, we walked to Crown and Bull. The food was really good. Live music and not exactly what we hoped for but good. The next rainy afternoon, we easily walked to Bon Appetit. White tablecloths, filet mignon,piano music. Very good. The breakfast at the hotel was more than sufficient for us so we only needed the other meal. For the hotel, everyone VERY nice! Room clean and redone with vaulted ceiling on 2nd floor. Bathroom redone x for tile around tub itself. Plenty good enough for us. The town itself had enough for a day or two. We didn’t drive from the time we parked until we left.

They were sawing to fix first floor rooms for hurricane damage, which is completely understandable but not past 8:30pm. When j asked to use the pool after 8 pm, the front desk man told me to go ahead, I then Informed him it requires a key and mine isn't working because it is after 8pm. So he put his hands up and said there is nothing he can do that he could loose his job. I said well they need to stop making that noise by 9pm or inam filing a complaint with the city.

Downtown Dunedin Marina

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was extremely professional. We had three people in a room with two queens. The room itself has very tight quarters by the fridge, closet and bathroom. There are very few places to hang wet towels, toiletry bags and other items not meant to be hung in the closet. There was a great deal of hurricane work being done on the first floor, which we were informed of prior to our stay. That really wasn't the issue. The garbage trucks at 5am- both Saturday and Sunday-to empty the dumpsters for the restaurant next door were beyond loud and really should be moved to an area that is not next to the rooms. The area (Downtown Dunedin) is very quaint and a convenient walk to all the shops, restaurants, and breweries. I would go back but insist on a room not near the restaurant.

Hurricane renovations, but greeting guests!

Although the room was comfortable, and the location was good for our purpose there, the hotel is still renovating and fixing just about everything since the hurricane damage back in the summer. So, pretty much building supplies everywhere, furniture boxes all over, elevator not working (although someone carried our bags upstairs) lots of things not working correctly or at all. The staff was nice, but you can tell they are frustrated too. It's very sad that it is taking a long time - not sure how many rooms are ready to use. Rooms on either side of us were "in remodeling" phase and we could hear some of that noise early. They had breakfast, but not tables or chairs for everyone. I is a great location, and I hope that they will come back strong!
