Unassuming but clean and fun!

Our experience was great! Check in and check out was easy, and they were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. We had breakfast at the grill, which was great. I only wish there was an option to have breakfast outdoors. We didn’t get to use the beach much due to timing and weather but it was gorgeous, and I didn’t realize you get a cabana and 2 loungers included! My kids enjoyed the hammocks and corn hole. The music at the beach bar sounded fun. We will come back!!

Yucky hotel

Cleaning the rooms was very low priority at this place. Front desk told us at check-in that they only clean every other day. Hmmm. Haven’t heard that one before. But on our third (and last) day there, our room still hadn’t been cleaned by 5 p.m. Front desk would not send someone to clean the room, and they were argumentative and hostile. There was no manager on site, they said. That’s when we just got out of there, to another hotel, forfeiting what we’d already paid for that night. The sheets were tissue-thin, as were the lumpy pillows, and the bed was creaky and uncomfortable. Also, our first morning there, in “Coconut Charlie’s”breakfast room, the waiter asked if we wanted to sit at a high table. We said we’d like a regular table. The waiter turned away, saying “F—k!” Not muttering it, saying it loud and clear. First time in my life I’ve heard a waiter talk like that. He also was nasty to another customer who apparently didn’t order quickly enough.

This location is in a beautiful location on St. Pete Beach. The hotel provides lounging cabanas for their guests to use on the beach. They also have a swimming pool and a bar/restaurant on the beach side. Overall, a great place to stay on the beach.

This place was wonderful! I was so pleased with all of it. The beach, the pool, the service from Mike at coconut charlie, to the first desk supervisor Anthony doing his thing. I reserved through 3rd party (expedia), and when i needed changes done to the reservation, the front desk had no problem fixing it. Amazing place!

My angels watching over me

Anthony was so helpful and thoughtful, after a last-minute snafu with a Airbnb I had booked that was not what I had expected, I got this room last minute, and I was frazzled, thinking I had nowhere to stay after driving across the state of Florida, I was so relieved! My room was fabulous, the bed and pillows a dream, the room temp perfect, it's like they know my preferences!!
