This newly renovated condo has all the comforts of home with new flooring, cabinets and granite throughout. Enjoy beautiful gulf breezes from the privacy of your balcony and experience Florida at it's best. The master bedroom has a door that takes you out to the private balcony. The master bath has a luxurious walk in shower. There are flat screen TV's in both bedrooms as well as the living room. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 6 guests in the condo. As a guest of John's Pass Condo's you will have access to our office services which include printing boarding passes, sending and receiving faxes as well as receive and send personal mail from our office. Our friendly staff will do their best to accommodate any requests or concerns you may have during your vacation. Please come and enjoy the beautiful beach and soothing warm breezes as well as the local attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafes, restaurants and fishing charters directly across the street from our condos. Coin operated washers and dryers are located on each floor. This is a non- smoking accommodation.

Terrible Experience at Sandy Shores

When we arrived we tried to contact the manager at the office. The door was locked so we called the number. A lady answered and told us she wasn’t able to help us bc she was “out and about” but we could just park wherever and go to our condo. The elevator wasn’t working so we had to take the stairs. When we got to our condo we noticed a sign on the door informing us we would not have access to walk in or out of the rented condo for 2 full days of our stay due to the walkway floors being repainted. When I tried to clarify this with management I was told the company I booked through or the owner should have informed us bc the repairs had been scheduled for over a month. We weren’t informed until we checked in. Once inside the condo we noticed the floors were covered in sand, the baseboards were missing and the drywall was being repaired throughout the condo.Many pieces of furniture including the living room ottoman, one of the patio chairs and the dresser drawers were broken. The pillows were stained with brown or yellow stains and one of the pillows had blood stains on it. The building was being power washed throughout our entire stay. The machine was extremely loud and disruptive when trying to sleep. On April 28-29 the walkways were taped off and we were not allowed to come or go from the condo between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. The staff were rude and not at all helpful. We paid for 5 days but were really only allowed to use the condo for 3. Don’t stay here!

Family fun

Just had a great stay with my family. The condo and the facilities were clean and the staff we encountered were friendly. The accommodations were very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the area. The only complaint was that our parking spot was not clearly marked, luckily my 10 year old happened to notice the faint raised pavement where the paint had worn off previously. The lock to get into the condo was also difficult to use because one of the numbers was not working very well. The code just needs to be changed to make things easier. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Short review

First the elevator worked intermittently and its floor covering looked tacky. 1 chair on the balcony was broken as was the ottoman inside. Some walls looked unfinished. No bathmats in bathrooms and the refrigerator door needed touched up. There needs directions for tv, very frustrating trying find channels. They need regular moving carts not 1 grocery cart to move in with. air and heat were great, the recliners were fantastic and beds were very comfy

Beautiful beach across from John’s Pass

Great location, beach is easy to access (elevators and short walk). The unit was on 3rd floor. View of the pass, not the ocean although it was nice. If you like to fish, bring poles and get a day license, noticed many fishing under the pass. Unit was clean and comfortable for us. Has a few beach chairs, umbrellas, volleyball in the unit available for use. Few things missing for cooking etc. The lock on entry door code was an issue to get in every time, noticed a couple of broken items in the condo.I reported to the agent immediately via app/email. No response from them the entire time. . I’d stay at this location again. Maybe a beach view next time. Enjoy your trip, cheers! !

We loved this condo! Very clean and updated. Loved how it was decorated. Very beachy, Great choices to really make you feel like you were in a beachy enviroment. We will definitly rent this unit again!

This place is not kids friendly, in the pool they don’t allow you to listen to music the president of the building is always there staring at you and other owners are very rude and look at you like bad the have bad energy and are rude people you don’t feel welcome and if you are Hispanic this people look at you weird , this weekend I didn’t feel good in this place if you want to como with your family and have a good time this is not the place.

Beautiful condo in the best location!

The condo is located directly across from John’s Pass making it the ideal location. You can walk to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and stores. The condo was clean and the bed was comfy! The pool is also amazing and clean with the cutest tiki tables to sit at or plenty of lounge chairs to relax in. I would recommend staying here :)

Property was well kept. Private parking and access code for pool gates and elevator made us feel safe. The room was clean and very equipped for our family of 6. Walking distance from the beach, restaurants and local shops.

Nice place & location

The condo was very clean & appeared to be newly updated. Very nice! Although it said there was supposed to be 4 bed & when we checked in there were only 3 (a king & a bunk bed) which were not shown in original booking so we had to buy a blowup mattress. Other than that very nice place & clean properly. I would definitely stay again!

We were put in the wrong unit, with not enough beds and lacking specific items that were in the initial unit that I rented. I spent a lot of money on this vacation for my family and this was a huge inconvenience. No one has returned my calls, texts or emails to rectify this situation. Very unhappy!

The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the beach. Everything is outdated, the floors that are supposed to be white are grey from all the filth, vents with dust falling off them, bathrooms horrific, bedding was horrible! The whole time we were there I had to keep fighting with fruit flies that we never understood where they were coming from! Ugh completely disgusted!!

Just an ok unit

Location of the property is nice, walk across to Johns Pass. It can be a little noisy with the traffic and the drawbridge right there. The pool and beach are beautiful. Very disappointed with the lack of communication with the management company. The blinds were broken in main family room and didn’t close, light bulbs out in smaller bedroom and tv remote was broken. We also never received any hand towels in the unit. I called several times regarding this and none of it was addressed. We never got the towels. The floor leaves your feet black if you’re walking barefoot in the unit. The master shower floor also was nasty. We cook in most of our stay, the utensils are rusted and worn, left food stained along with the hot pads in the drawer to use. We bought a few new and left them for the next renters. Overall the place was just ok, we booked late at a discounted price versus the true rental rate, I wouldn’t pay full price to go back maybe for what we paid, maybe.

We enjoy the trip

The location is great, the apartment is a good size, the fan on the pain bedroom was very dirty and the small one was not working, the fridge was leaking water , they sent a maintenance guy and looked like it was ok.. but later.. still water.. we just put a towel and it was fine.. fridge was working good.. We had a great time and just some maintenance details on the property. I would recommend to stay there.. and We will plan another get away to stay there.

Needs updating

The carpet in the master looks 20 years old and is stained and gross. We did t want to walk on it barefoot. Both coffee pots were broken with pieces lying inside. Roach trap in kitchen on coffee pot. Guest toilet wouldn’t fill with water to flush, we had to fill tank each time. Tv remote fell apart in pieces. Master had no ceiling fan and floor fan was so gunked up it wouldn’t even push air. We had to take cover off. Superficial cleaning was done before we got there but Not a very clean place. No dish soap, paper towels, dish towels. You shouldn’t have to purchase everything from the store to stay for a few days. We have stayed in property before and other units have been fine but I would not stay in this unit again.

Great location!

The location was great but the condo itself was just ok. They only provided 4 towels for 6 people, AC did not get cold, beds are hard, pillows are flat, blinds are broken and don’t close. We ended up leaving a day early. We will stay at Sandy Shores again because of its location, property, and management but not in this unit!!

I enjoyed staying here my only complaint is that it could use some updating throughout the property (not necessarily in our room). However with at being said I did see someone on several different days speaking with someone about repairs so they seemed to be aware and at least are making efforts in the right direction.

Elevator slow, couldn't find a luggage carrier to use Code hard to work SMELL upon entering was very musty/moldy food in stove drawer wet wash cloth left behind Drain in one bathroom clogged/1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom 2 dishwasher pods, and NO dish soap at all FILTHY blanket and carpets were disgusting not even vacuumed no GRAB bars in showers I have pictures if your interested enough to care
