Island Grand at TradeWinds offers 381 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature a safe and coffee/tea makers. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses. We stayed in an ocean front room. It was smaller than other ocean front rooms but it was clean. I do have to say they had the softest towels of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in so kudos. I was disappointed that there was no fitness facility at my location, I had to drive to their other property to workout. Overall it was good and I do recommend the hotel.

La estancia fue muy buena....en el hotel hay muchas opciones de actividades para niños...varios bares y cafeterias alrededor de sus piscinas es una excelente opcion...la atencion en la playa con sus tumbonas y sombrillas tambien excelente. Tambien hay opciones de biscicleta acuatica en un rio artificial, con vegetacion y patos, en un ambiente tropical.

Still recovering from Hurricanes.

I know they are still recovering from the hurricanes so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I’ve been several times. Service was a little off. Rooms need updating. Could smell septic, around the pool area.

An amazing place. We had the two bedrooms suite. It is spacious. The only downfall is one of the bedrooms is as soon as you open the door and everyone has to walk through the room to come and go from the room or to the living space. Our room overlooked the canal with the boats and was quiet but beautiful. The property has a lot to offer. We paid for a private dinner for Memorial Day and No One at our hotel knew where it was…. It was at the sister hotel. BIGGEST PROBLEM….NO ICE. All machines did not have any. WE HAD TO GO TO THE TIKI BAR TO GET ANY. We had an AMAZING WAITRESS IN THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST WHO WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. I forgot her name but I think it was Brandy. She went and got me cappuccino from the Tiki hut for breakfast .

They clearly were not full and we asked at check in for a room change to a higher floor and were denied. this was after they had sent us an email asking if we wanted an upgrade for an additional charge. Also, we asked to have wine glasses delivered to the room and they stated they do not do that.

The property felt dated especially in guest room. There was a roach on our curtain one night. Always brought us fresh towels in the am, and beach front access was perfect. Probably wouldn’t stay here again, expensive overnight parking & resort fees. Definitely mixed experience here.

Ana at the front desk was excellent. The main issue is if you are going to charge $55 per day for a resort fee, we shouldnt have to pay for every activity around the resort. Activites like making necklaces and crafting should be included. Not all of the beach activities were avaliable.

When I arrived, they did not have a room available. I had to wait an hour and a half to get my room. Then once we headed to the room, the elevator had no air condition when we arrive to the room. The rug was dirty. The property needs an upgrade

I was in love! What is there bad to say? My arrival was welcoming and warm! My room was cool. There are SO MANY THINGS TO DO! There are ducks, fish, crabs, squirrels! Benches for coffee! A spot for dogs!!!!! Kids can party like they own that place! Every person and staff member I encountered was extremely helpful and kind! I loved watching all the families spend time together! All the cabanas and hammocks! Those rocked big time at night while relaxing and listening to live music!
