So so.....

At check in I was told I was upgraded with a water view. We had a water view but was told prior we would have a water view and a balcony. While being told they had no more rooms like that. Second condition of the hotel was very dirty, the sink plunger didn't work and shower was ice cold. Very noisy between the walls. Not very peaceful. Size of the room was great and view was beautiful

Perfect spot for a quick getaway

Golden Nugget is in a great location - it was an easy walk to the concert event we were in town to attend. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was responsive and helpful. Parking was easy. Our lunch at Saltgrass Steak House was delicious in a wonderful atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

First time staying at the hotel and was surprised how nice it was. Got a free room upgrade with a nice view of the lake. Plus it had a balcony which was really cool. Location also had many dining choices. Would definitely stay there again.

The first thing that we noticed was the fact that the pool closes very early during weekdays. While check-in is not until 4 PM, the pool hours close at 6 PM and do not reopen until 10 AM but checkout is 11 AM. Secondly, when it came to the room, there were what appeared to be blood spots on the sheet. We tend to bring our own blanket so for us that wasn’t a big deal, however obviously that’s gross. Thirdly while I have a very small, short wife, the motto in the bathroom she could barely see to get herself ready. We were only given two towels, not even any extras in the closet. Overall it was a decent stay but probably won’t book there again.
