Inside, the condo features a well-equipped full kitchen, a dining table for shared meals, and a cozy living area with plush seating and a flatscreen TV. After a day outdoors, unwind with a movie, play cards by the fire, or simply relax with family and friends. Sleeping arrangements include a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full-size sofa bed in the living area. The full bathroom includes a tub/shower combination.

Ptarmigan House offers a convenient ski-in/ski-out location just south of Gondola Square, allowing easy access to the gondola and Christie Peak Express each morning. Guests also enjoy access to a community outdoor hot tub and a shared gas grill for summer cookouts.

Winter Activities
Steamboat Ski Resort is just steps away, offering 18 lifts, 169 trails, and nearly 3,000 skiable acres across Mt. Werner and surrounding peaks. After a day on the slopes, visit the area’s famous hot springs, including Old Town Hot Springs (three miles away) and Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs (10 miles away), both open year-round. Additional winter activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing at Haymaker Nordic Center (two miles south), and exploring the shops, restaurants, and galleries of downtown Steamboat Springs (three miles away).

Summer Activities
During warmer months, the resort transforms into a hub for hiking and mountain biking, with miles of scenic trails on Mt. Werner. Enjoy a gondola ride, golf at Haymaker Golf Course (two miles south), or try Steamboat Zipline Adventures (six miles south). The Yampa River Core Trail, less than a mile away, offers a paved 7.5-mile path along the river leading to downtown and the beautiful Yampa River Botanic Park.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
