It is good for a short stay. But needs upgrade on amenities and decor. Sayed 7 nights and only had 1 day of service for room.
Good location for everything.
Old property, but fit for purpose. The area is great! Can walk down to Elizabeth Bay quite easily. Plenty of food and shops around. That Saturday organic market down the street is very good.

Better than my previous stay. There has been a change for the better but still a long way to go
The property is in a great location near shops, transport, bars, restaurants. The staff are polite and friendly.
The property is in dire need of cleaning and refurbishment. Housekeeping only cleans rooms after you have departed.Not a place for germaphobes. The foyer is filthy.
The hotel was conveniently located near the Botanical Gardens, Opera House and Bridge. Also not far from the cruise terminal. The staff were extremely helpful, printing our luggage tags, ordering a taxi and helping us out (there is a short flight of stairs to access the lobby)
Very nice attendant explained I'd been upgraded, not sure from what as room was tiny & decrepit, as is the whole building. Cheap & well located, and none of the roaming or screaming drunks stole my luggage 😀
Nothing fancy but the room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, everything worked that needed to work and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The price was refreshingly reasonable in horrendously expensive Sydney.
Hotel needs a total update , saying that the room was comfortable and beds were comfy and air conditioning was good. Reception staff cluld do with a lesson on social skills , no pleasantries exchanged whatsover . Not a bad location

The toilet facilities are very old, hangers coming off. No Kitchen facility as advertised.
It is very convenient. Even if you see live shows in the city you can be back in your room in 10 minutes because of the train system. It has greater value than city hotels. The rooms are comfortable, clean and safe and secure. One minor point - there were no Kleenex tissues in the room. I used my own.
