Whole hotel is in need of a make over inc. Painting, blinds, worn carpets & bathroom fittings. Room was very small with only one chair for 2 people. Not for a long stay. TV effectively only had two channels, 2 and 10. Staff very nice.

Excellent view of Darling Harbour. Very close to Pyrmont light rail station and easy reach to the Aquarium and cruises along the harbour. Breakfast was up to normal standard.

I had a really wonderful stay :^) The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely and welcoming, and the location is super convenient; it's close to the light rail and the maritime museum. Highly recommend!!

The room was in unacceptable condition, seeing how clogged the vents were with dust — both in the bedroom and the bathroom — made me regret booking this accommodation. Considering the rate was over $600 AUD per night, it was quite unacceptable.

Difficult to check in. Checked in late and wasn't able to get in the glass entry door of the Ibis Hotel. Saw a staff member at the check in area / office, and knocked / rang the door bell for 10 mins, but they were unresponsive. Eventually I was let in to the check in area and they couldn't find my reservation. I booked with Expedia, have never had an issue before - so assume the issue was at the hotel's end. The Ibis Hotel rooms were very underwhelming - especially for the price. Photos on the website don't accurately represent the modest accommodations. Disappointing stay overall. Lobby was clean, but that's about it as far as leaving a good impression.

They seem to renovate rooms from the top floor. Mine is 4th floor. It is old and noisy due to renovation. Internet is slow since all rooms use common wifi. Wife is even disconnected depending locations in the room. The price was high. My room shoud have been cheaper than other rooms since it is old.

Hotel staff were friendly and the parking was easy but expensive (but that is Sydney). The room itself was tiny and a little outdated but everything was clean and worked well. The key thing with this hotel is its location which is excellent as it is super close to all bars and eateries at Darling Harbour.
