Room smelled very bad. No coffee maker, no Wi-Fi, only 2 wash cloths, 2 towels and less than 1/2 a roll of toliet tissue for a 2 person 2 night stay. AC filter was clogged so bad that very little air was circulating. Toliet clogged on first flush because tank was set to flush with about a pint of water. Piled our luggage in and immediately left for the nearest Dollar General for tissue, paper towels, Lysol and air freshener. Later found that shower would not drain because drain was blocked with a used razor blade! All for $165.00 a night because it was the Fall race at Talladega. Pros were decent hot water and nice size fridge.Cons were all of the above plus staff got ill when we asked for a couple more towels, wash clothes and a toliet plunger and the "cleaning" staff knocked on the door at 10:00 am to politely informed us that it was OK if we were out of the room by 10:30 for the 11:00 am check out. Pass on this one if there's any way you can.

For the adventurous

It’s great that this place exists as an option for the broke. The beds are fine and the A/C was great. I wouldn’t stay there again unless I was still broke, which I will be. There are roaches. My dad found a dead rodent in his room. The shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall and the curtain was mildewed. The door has a deadbolt and that little hotel swing latch. However, the room key cards deactivated every morning and would only work about 1/4 of the time, which was infuriating, and having to go to the front desk several times a day to be asked to be let into my room was annoying as hell. I felt scared when my card wouldn’t work at night. Hotel staff said it was my fault for keeping my card near my phone. Feels slightly unsafe & I piled furniture in front of door at night. Better than sleeping in a car. The TV shows televangelists and reruns of Gomer Pyle MC but most channels don’t have any sound. Better than sleeping in a car.

Mildew/mold

The outside of the property alone is sketchy! The clerk in the office was fairly nice and accommodating however, she explains that the room floor is a little wet, but all I had to do was open up the door and let it dry out for a few minutes! Upon entering rule was immediately Bombarded by the wreaking smell of mold and mildew! Very underwhelming and I wouldn’t encourage anyone to stay at this place, even if they offered it for free.

IT WAS TERRIBLE !!!!!!!! i gagged when i walked in the room. it looked like a trap & smelled like one as well, it was just horrid . the bathroom was also disgusting and it looked like there was blood in the tub.
