This is a beautiful property with great amenities. The folks at the desk are extremely competent, fulfilling all my requests with warmth and smiles. The location is fantastic. Hotel Haya is my go-to landing spot in Tampa.

The property was really cool and vibrant. A historic property that has been renovated, but kept the historic pieces of the property, which is very important. The bathroom was clean, bright and open. The beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. I was not able to try the breakfast. I was only there for two nights and was very busy with activities during the day, but the area was wonderful with so much to do. I would like to mention not being from the area, the staff were extremely friendly and helped you feel safe in an unfamiliar area. I noticed they had several staff members watching the areas of the bar and restaurant to ensure patron safety and security. I was very appreciative of that.

My room had bugs. I noticed the front desk multiple times. They said they lacked the ability to clean it or treat it so they left it. The cost was $722 for 2 nights. They do not even wipe the bugs off the wall or the floor or the table or the desk. They did not discount or comp the room. Really dissatisfied. Especially after I came back to room 3x to check to see if it was taken care of. The manager said it was. It was not. And he simply told me an untruth. I provided photos and pictures. Still just told sorrry we are sold it’s Halloween weekend.
