For my boutique hotel lovers, Le Méridien is a great choice. This boutique hotel is very unique as it previously was a Federal courthouse where mob bosses were convicted and renovated into this lovely hotel. They still have some of the original rooms, wooden doors and decor. They offer a 24hr fitness center, pool and a restaurant that offers Latin cuisine. The staff were very friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend if heading to Tampa.

This was a wonderful stay! Every single person that worked there went above and beyond and was so friendly! The rooms were comfy, not super spacious, but perfectly fine for our needs for the weekend. There was plenty of closet space if you're someone who likes to unpack. Pillows were very soft so if you like a firm pillow, bring your own. The only issue I had with the room is that even with blackout curtains, the sun came in around them because of how they're hung on the windows, which are very tall. The pool was nice, very relaxing! We really only got the sun from about 10am-1pm, when it disappeared behind the buildings. There's no pool bar or restaurant, but it's a great space to read a book and relax. The amenities were a nice extra. We got the continental breakfast, which was a great perk! You actually get it at the restaurant, and the food was delicious. Free coffee everyday and $15 amenities credit which goes toward the restaurant or any snacks you might buy. There were a few restaurants around the hotel but it's not really a bustling area. We walked about 15-20 min to get to places like Riverwalk and Armature Works, which is more lively. The walks weren't bad at all but if you prefer an Uber or Lyft, it's around $10-$15. Overall, a really nice stay!

My birthday was ruined at Le Méridien Tampa. I booked a weekend stay expecting a relaxing experience, but it turned into one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had. I left my room for over 5 hours assuming housekeeping would clean it — yet it was never serviced, even after multiple complaints and promises from the front desk. Management Antonio, showed no apology, no urgency, and no effort to fix it. Absolutely unacceptable for a so-called luxury hotel.
