Hotel needs a lot of work in every aspect. No elevator in the facility so have lug luggage to upper floor. Checked in at time specified on check in and rooms not ready. Had to wait on laundry for room supplies. Hotel has no bed bugs but seen several roaches when became dark outside. Needless to say took showers and then left. Didn’t want chance to take extra passengers.

There were roaches! The tub/shower was not clean. Heavy bleach smell. The carpet was filthy in the stairwell and hallway. Very noisy as well. It’s a small town and there aren’t many lodging choices. Perhaps this is why the property is ill maintained. There were a couple of positives. The check in went smooth and the clerk was nice. The outside of the property is nice and easily accessible.

The TV in our room didn't work. There was coffee in the room but no cups to put it in. Bed was comfortable. Good for one night stay.

Staff was friendly. Room and building are very neglected. Stains on bedding blanket and chairs in room. Breakfast was poor. Tasted like powdered eggs. Ran out of sausage. Had to ask for coffee to be made. Hole in wall at end of our hallway. Stains on carpets in hallway and not vacuumed. Had to wait extra hour for room to be ready. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The good: rooms were mostly clean, it was a safe area, staff was friendly. The free breakfast and coffee wasn't bad either. The bad: our room was roach infested. We had to switch rooms after finding 5 roaches in less than 10 minutes. The front desk moved us rooms with no trouble. When we went back to the old room to validate we had retrieved everything, there were even more roaches. I don't know if we just got a bad room or if this is a recurring issue. I didn't see any other reviews mention roaches. Aside from the roaches, it was a fine stay.

The place is very dated but that is the norm for a small town hotel. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and we felt very secure staying here. very affordable! Keep in mind that if you have trouble walking stairs, you need to book a first floor as this two story hotel does NOT have an elevator!
