I had an amazing stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the middle of the vibrant Kabukicho area, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and Shinjuku Station. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself feels like a peaceful escape from the city buzz. The Godzilla theme adds a really fun and unique touch. If you’re a fan, definitely book a room with a view of the Godzilla head — it’s a one-of-a-kind experience! The rooms are compact (as expected in Tokyo) but very well-designed, spotless, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a mobile phone for guests, a high-tech toilet, and plenty of charging options. Staff were friendly, professional, and spoke good English, which made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I also loved the security system — you need your room card to access the guest floors, which added an extra level of comfort. Would definitely recommend Hotel Gracery Shinjuku to anyone visiting Tokyo — whether for sightseeing, shopping, or just soaking in the energy of this incredible city. I’ll gladly stay here again!

First, let me say that with regard to the “area around the property” this hotel only has so much control. If you make a left rather than a right when leaving the hotel, you run into some sketchy characters. Having said that, even the sketchy characters weren’t that bad. They were drunk but they didn’t bother anyone and I didn’t feel unsafe. My feedback about the room is the size of the room and lack of storage but most of all the bed was very uncomfortable. The room was clean and the staff was wonderful.

Hotel has an excellent location if you want to be in the middle of everything. I personally loved being right in the city. All the Tokyo lights right when you walk outside. Close to a bunch of konbinis, other stores, and many restaurants. Close to shinjuku station. Love the Godzilla head. Service was good. The view from our room on the 19th floor was amazing. Also, best shower/bath experience EVER.

We have stayed here before as the location is convenient to Shinjuku station and we are Godzilla fans. We were disappointed that there was no access to the “Godzilla Head” on the 8th floor which was a cool photo op in the past.

When we stayed there 8 years ago, the breakfast buffet was amazing with traditional Japanese food. This stay was mostly Americanized and not good at all. We were looking forward to the buffet but very disappointed when we got there.

The hotel was very quiet. The hotel is also in a great part of Tokyo. It was easy from the hotel to walk to the large Shinjuku rail station, where we could travel all around Tokyo. There are also easy to walk to pickup locations for day tours. The rooms are smaller than Canadians are used to, but we didn’t spend much time in our room. The bathtub and hand held shower worked well with lots of water pressure and hot water.

The hotel is excellent however the only concern is the area. Lundary may be a little shortfor. Room is clean, daily clearing of rubbish and change of towel even when we never request to make up the room.
