I had an amazing stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the middle of the vibrant Kabukicho area, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and Shinjuku Station. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself feels like a peaceful escape from the city buzz. The Godzilla theme adds a really fun and unique touch. If you’re a fan, definitely book a room with a view of the Godzilla head — it’s a one-of-a-kind experience! The rooms are compact (as expected in Tokyo) but very well-designed, spotless, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a mobile phone for guests, a high-tech toilet, and plenty of charging options. Staff were friendly, professional, and spoke good English, which made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I also loved the security system — you need your room card to access the guest floors, which added an extra level of comfort. Would definitely recommend Hotel Gracery Shinjuku to anyone visiting Tokyo — whether for sightseeing, shopping, or just soaking in the energy of this incredible city. I’ll gladly stay here again!

The staff and facilities are top notch. The ambiance of the hotel is great, especially if you are a Godzilla fan. I only wish the Godzilla head terrace was opened. I love the the Godzilla themed items at the lounge as well. While I love the property, the location is party central and since trash cans are nonexistent in Tokyo, the revelers leave their debris in the streets. The city does a great job of cleaning the next morning but if you are an early riser who likes to get out early, you are treated to a very messy area.

Total tourist hotel. Of course it was Godzilla that drew us. The area is the ‘red district’ so at night it was super sketchy right outside the hotel. Plenty of dining in the area and a 7-11 down below. Very nice hotel, but the rooms were micro. We had to put our luggage in the bathroom. Our first time to Japan so maybe this is standard, we weren’t mad about it, just not expecting such tiny rooms. It was pretty expensive, but it was peak tourist season and it’s an attraction. The balcony to get up close to Godzilla Has been CLOSED for over a year due to vandalizing. That was a bummer. Wish we knew that ahead. We didn’t get to have drinks or breakfast in the lounge, we were too late. The “gift shop” is 2 cabinets in the lobby, but same stuff is in Don Quixote. If you love Godzilla you have to try it, if not, there are probably 100 better options.

The property was great and the view was amazing. It is continent for walking. It is right in the middle of a very busy area which can be overwhelming but the area is safe. I stayed there a bulk of my trip as a woman traveling alone and although I felt overwhelmed at times because of the city I had no problems with the safety of the area. Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed all the Godzilla decorations around the lobby (including the small shop). The hotel is a within walking distance to Shinjuku station, and has plenty of dining options available (including a movie theater in the lower level).

Booked this spot as a very last minute stay and was very pleased with the quick response time. Check-in was incredibly smooth, and we received two free gifts for our stay (it was a random raffle-type situation). My only complaint with the room, was the bathroom was a smidge under-cleaned and due to our floor we could still hear the hustle and bustle outside through the window. I’m sure things would have been quieter if we were on a higher floor though. Overall good stay though. Loved the spacious bathroom! The deep tub was a luxury after walking all day.

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku (better known as the “Godzilla Hotel”) was a really nice place to stay at with wonderful food options and in the middle of bustling Shinjuku. Definitely would recommend the Godzilla floor for its views of Tokyo.

The hotel is great and the staff are excellent. The hotel is in the entertainment district and is surrounded by restaurants, bars and other types of entertainment. The recruiters for the more adult types of entertainment can be very aggressive. I am glad I didn’t have my kids with me.
