The hotel’s location is excellent — just a minute’s walk to Shinjuku Sanchome Station, with plenty of restaurants all around. Everything you need is within walking distance: Shinjuku main station, the express airport bus stop, and even a Family Mart just a few meters away. The room had a good-sized window and even a washer-dryer, which was super convenient. Breakfast featured great Japanese dishes, although there were no alternative milk options like soy — but Starbucks was just a minute away, so it wasn’t a big issue.
Now for the downsides:
After a long flight, we arrived early and asked to check in at 2 PM instead of 3 PM. The room was ready, but they still charged about $20 for the extra hour. Understandable, but a little disappointing considering the room was available.
The biggest issue, however, was the bed — the mattress felt very cheap and springy, and we couldn’t sleep well at all. Also, the room walls had visible marks, likely from luggage. And just a heads-up: like many hotels in Japan, there were no night pajamas or complimentary skincare products provided.
Overall, it was okay for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer because of the bed.
