We basically enjoyed our stay, especially being on the beach and the hot tub, mini kitchen in the room. Everything seemed clean except for the floor. After we got out of the tub I took the floor mat and wiped up the water from walking to the bathroom and the towel was nasty meaning the floor was not clean. The chairs on the balcony was nasty looking as well.

The room was accommodating especially with 2 babies. The floors were filthy. I can’t think of a worse word. Our feet were black! Our socks were black. Not good when little ones playing on the floor.

Fix your "no flow" toilets!

The room toilet was non functional. Had to use the 4th floor toilet. It did not have enough water flow. This made the stay difficult. I used the outside public toilet at Grom Park. Staff did try and fix it. Also Could not get the Wifi to work for my laptop. Staff worked with it but could not get it working. Also I got the wrong room, did not want the hot tub room and staff would not switch me even though there was a room available. I aways stay at the Schooner.. love the quick access to the surfing beach. This stay was my worst!

We have stayed here for many years but there are never any upgrades to the property. It was clean enough but very outdated. No amenities (like coffee at the front desk) but the front desk staff are very nice. I think it's over priced for the age and condition of the hotel. And this stay really wasn't enjoyable d/t the surfing competition (my fault, should have checked before we went).

Will be back!

My second time staying here, be sure to check for the surfing competition happening in August! Was looking for a quiet get away but there was so much going on literally right outside the hotel. It all was actually a great view from the balcony though. Staff was great and so were the house keepers. Clean rooms and very accommodating. Will be back for the quiet get away though!

Beach front

We had a lovely stay at Schooner Inn. It was clean, staff was friendly, there is a pool, ocean and bayside rooms. We had a stocked kitchenette which came in handy. Close to the boardwalk. I did not put 5 stars because it is not a luxury level hotel, it is an updated older property. We would stay again!

Don’t appreciate loud party in front of the hotel couldn’t enjoy the beach no room for hotel guests no getting any sleep because city workers start 3 am . Checking out is not easy there was no carts real trips available. We had to carry stuff from the end of hallway to elevator make several trips.
