Pacific Rest sijaitsee Waldport OR tarjoaa lomanviettäjille paikka pako arjesta ja todella levätä. Tämä oceanfront koti on 3 makuuhuoneen 2 kylpyhuoneen talo sijaitsee pois valtatie 101. Tämä koti sijaitsee merenranta näkemyksiä lemmikkiystävällinen majoitusta ja oma ranta sijaitsee lopussa takapihalla. Kävijät tulevat tähän kotiin nauttia joitakin kaikkein eristäytynyt rannat Oregonin rannikolla. Tämän lisäksi Waldportilla on yleensä vähemmän liikennettä kuin voisi odottaa Newportin, Seasiden ja Lincoln Cityn suurimmissa kaupungeissa. Loved this house and its location wonderful ocean view! Lovely and the layout was great! The only issues were that we couldn’t get the house warm and the shower door in one of the bathrooms fell off . Otherwise it’s wonderful.

Talk about beach access!

The house was just right as a beach house! Clean, comfortable, dog-friendly and perfect location!However, the stairs to the beach (a short set of stairs) has had major damage and repairs are needed. Next door has a good path!

Fire Escape

We rented this cottage last minute to escape fire evacuations in Douglas county. The setting is spectacular. We enjoyed morning and evening walks on the beach. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals. The price was right. Not a high end beach house but very nice and comfortable for three nights.

Nice stay at a quieter part of the coast

This oceanfront home had beautiful views. The home was spacious and was located in a less busy section of the Oregon Coast, which we liked. Although there were other homes all around, we didn’t really see anyone else, so it felt like we had the beachfront views to ourselves. On the downside, the stairs for beach access directly in front of the house were in disrepair and blocked off, which was mentioned in the listing, but a bummer nonetheless. And the beds were not the most comfortable; one bed in particular leaned to one side and sunk in the middle. The couple in that room didn’t sleep very well, unfortunately. Operating the washing machine was tricky initially, but we got it figured out without having to bother anyone with questions. The house could use a little bit of a refresh, but it was clean, which we appreciated. All things considered, we enjoyed our weekend and our stay.

Perfect beach getaway

Relaxing. Beautiful ocean views. Loved being able to walk out the back door and down to the beach, and this is stretch of beach is really nice. Spectacular sunsets. Location perfect. Few minutes from Yachats, Waldport, or Newport. Great time.

Pleasantly Suprised!

After booking(pretty last minute) I read the detailed reviews and was sure we made a huge mistake booking this place. Maybe it was because we went into it expecting the worst, but we were pleasantly surprised by this great beach home! We visited while the gorgeous hydrangea in the front of the home was in full bloom(mid July). The old carpet has been removed and replaced with tile in the home. The bedrooms have what looked to be brand new carpet in them. Everything was very clean. Yes, it has a bit of a musty smell at first, but not of dog or pet urine as older reviews had mentioned. The furniture is pretty old and could use updating.The kitchen is clean and has all the appliances you'll need. The only complaint is that the dining table is permanently sticky. It needs a good sanding and polyurethane finish. Maybe bring a small table cloth and that will take care of that. The bed mattresses are indeed old, but were clean and comfortable. The stairs down to the beach were still in disrepair, but we were able to hop up and down with no problem. The next door neighbors had no problem with us using theirs. The tv was hard to use, but we didn't mind. Overall, we had a wonderful visit. The beach is amazing and the view is sublime.

I really liked the house and view, especially it's proximity to Big Stump. It was in need of some winter maintenance, but noting major. I was a little disappointed that the garage and stair case out back were unaccessible , but there was beach access.

Sweet place, great location.

This place was perfect for our family as we were able to let the kiddo play on the beach without having g to go anywhere. The house was cute and a good size. Only thing I can say is there could be a bit more upkeep done to make for more comfort.

Maintenance Needed

Pros: The location is amazing. Could not be any closer to the beach. Cons: The house is in desperate need of TLC and a handyman. The left front burner on the stove did not work. All kitchen knives need sharpening. Many of the dishes, pans and silverware needed washing before use. The TV volume was stuck at ‘very loud’ and no matter which of the 4-5 controls we tried, none turned the volume down. The heater/air conditioner was challenging to work. 3 of us tried to adjust but could not get heat when the weather was cooler out and cool air when it started to warm up outside. The washer machine button is broken. The stairs to the beach have not been fixed. I picked up a dozen piles of dog poop in the yard and the carpet inside had many pet stains. At least one of the bunk beds also had stains. There is blue masking tape holding carpet down in at least a couple places. It is unfortunate that so many maintenance issues need to be addressed because the location is great.

wonderful week of family vacation

I would give it a 10 except for the lack of beach access. The reason for looking for a beach stay was walking with dog on beach. We are older folks and used the neighbors stairs. The other thing we noticed was the pile of boards next to what is left of beach stairs are full of nails which could be dangerous to children especially.

Looks are deceiving

It is difficult to figure out where to start. The place was in 70’s decay. It really needs a makeover badly. Furniture was in disrepair, a window mechanism to close it was broken, the rug was not vacuumed and the yard looked as if it had not been cared for many months. The steps that lead to the beach were non existent. The pictures on vrbo are old and do not really cover how shabby the place was. I could go on and on. The view was about the only positive.
