Expedia was no help on Best Wertern booking snafu in Walterboro … room had zero TV, zero refrigeration and bath tub drainage was clogged … my wife took shower in 6 inches of waste water … BW front desk ignored my request to give replacement room immediately

Room in very poor condition and appeared barely cleaned. Had to plug in A/C myself. No shampoo. No Kleenex. Poor TV. Toilet not clean. Unsure about towels arranged haphazardly. Breakfast area appeared clean and the lady did a nice job with that and was very friendly.

Overall, excellent for the price. The room was clean, well lit, fridge was cold, water was hot. If you like a fitm bed, it's for you! The hotel communicated that there was construction, but honestly if they hadn't said anything, we wouldn't have known. It was very tidy where the construction was being done so I was not worried about nails in the tires or my kids playing in something dangerous.

Needs lots of attention.

Even though I knew they were renovating the hotel, it was in poor condition. We had to ask for everything. Shampoo, wash cloths etc. the refrigerator did not work. They were supposed to send a repairman but that never happened. The toilet wouldn’t flush and it wasn’t very study. Looked like it was ready to separate from the wall.
