Great little motel!

Actually, although it was an older hotel, they've done a remarkable job of keeping it clean and homey. Our only downside was that even though I'd asked online for a handicapped room because of two recent knee replacements, they didn't have one, and I had to climb the stairs. The other downside was that out of the 6 light bulbs in the room, only three worked. They said they would be fixed the next day.

Hotels.com users beware! Had requested bottom floor room as wife is disabled.At check in I was given a 2nd floor room and told the entire bottom floor is reserved for Choice Hotel guests.was then asked if I wanted to purchase the continental breakfast for a additional fee as I had reserved a “cheap room “ from Hotels.com.As I was unsure if wife was able to climb the stairs I asked for a refund and denied.Room itself was clean with comfortable bed but no coffee maker.

On the way to North Carolina so this was just a stop to sleep. Checked in at midnight - keys was ready to go. Room was clean, nice and cold A/C, beds were comfortable- didn't see any bugs. Staff was friendly. All great things and we got what we paid. There was an older smell to the room, tub floor needs a do over and shower fixtures need tightening, but again this was just a stop to sleep. We were very happy and thankful for a safe place to rest our heads.
