I've stayed at Wells Moody Motel many times, and have always been very satisfied! The property is very basic (roadside motel) - not 5-star luxury, they don't supply designer toiletries, but it completely meets my needs. The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the surrounding area is quiet, and it's extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. And the my favorite activity while I'm there is walking down Bourne Ave about 3/4 of a mile to the beach early in the morning or at sunset - it's magnificant! If you want luxury (and are willing to spend a fortune), then stay at a bougie B&B in Ogunquit. But if you want simplicity at a reasonable price and feel like you're in Maine, this place can't be beat!

Very easy check in and check out process. We stayed there for a night driving through Maine to get to Bar Harbor but took the time the next day to check out Portland area. Definitely will plan to stay here again!

I loved the down-home and personal feel of this motel. And it's such an affordable option compared to the corporate hotels. We were running late, and the motel staff called us and gave us the late check-in procedure. How nice was that? Met the owner the next morning and told them how much we enjoyed our stay with them.

Stayed 3 days. Weather was awesome so I sat poolside on two afternoons. Heated salt water pool was clean, heated and very inviting. Room was clean and well maintained. Lived being on Post Road because the area is close to the beach and many offerings of food and interesting shopping.
