Neljän makuuhuoneen talo vuokrattavana yöllä tai viikolla Wellsboron kaupungissa. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on oma queen-vuode ja kahdessa parivuode. Kaikissa neljässä makuuhuoneessa on ilmastointi. Olohuoneessa on kaasutakka, TV, WiFi ja puuhella. Takapihan patioilla on myös palokuoppa ja grilli. Talo on varustettu kaikilla keittiötarvikkeilla omien aterioiden valmistamiseksi. Vain muutaman korttelin päässä historiallisesta keskustasta, täynnä ravintoloita, baareja ja ostosmahdollisuuksia. Vain muutaman mailin päässä Pennsylvanian Grand Canyonista, jossa on retkeily, kalastus, metsästys, melonta, koskenlasku, pyöräily jne.

Christmas/New Year

6 adults over 60. The place COULD have been nice, but I spent the the first evening & next morning cleaning it to make it passively clean. No basic supplies such as toilet paper, paper products. Water from sink drained straight to the yard. No shovel or even a broom to clear snow and ice.

Great location & character of home

Our stay was during a snowstorm-turned-to-rain so we were indoors more than expected. There was plenty of room to spread out. Very quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds & furniture, generous supplies at coffee bar, plenty of towels. Because this is an older house, it has creaking floors & stairs (no sneaking to bathroom at night or downstairs in the morning) & rising heat so BR doors need to be open if you want heat, & dust from over-the-top yet creative decorations also rising. I swept dust webs from light fixtures & around the ceiling. Restoration/renovations were interesting, yet the house was charming & inviting. We loved the electric FP in LR, but we didn’t need to use the wood stove. Being walking distance to town is a huge bonus.

Short overnight stay

We stayed over one night, location is nice and quiet. The house is a pretty older house. My issue was the cleanliness, hair in sink, the outlet cover in the kitchen backsplash was very dirty, lots of spider webs and dust. Needs to be deep cleaned and cleaned better between guests

Loved the Location

This property had a great location and the house was big and roomy for all 8 of us. The property was clean and welcoming. However, there were some upkeep issues with the property. There seemed to be electrical problems impacting the lights staying on in some rooms. They would go on and off. Grown kids did not like the lack of locks on bathroom and bedroom doors and the inability to fully close the downstairs bathroom door. The listing stated there was air conditioning which consisted of window ACs in the upstairs bedrooms. There was not any AC on the main floor and since we stayed in July it was very warm. Many of the windows did not have screens so we couldn't open the windows and leave them open at night. The water dispenser on the fridge did not work and the light inside the fridge did not work. Even with these issues we enjoyed the area and had a good week exploring.

Nice BIG old house

Nice size property with plenty of room to spread out. One group was in the bigger sitting area watching tv while another group was in the smaller sitting are watching a different program. Nice size bedrooms and 2 shower areas were a plus.

Wellsboro Getaway

We needed a home base while our friend competed in the Pine Creek Challenge trail race. This house was large enough to accommodate our whole group. The common area rooms are spacious as are the 4 bedrooms. The laundry room was helpful and we were happy that they accepted pets. Great location too.

Geand Canyon PA

My family decided we wanted to swe the PA Grand Canyon, or as my 7 year old great nephew called ot "tha big hole in the ground". I found the house in Wellsboro which turned out to be great for us. The house was big enough, it had things for the kids to do, and a big firepit forus to sit around. Everything was great!

There were 3 generations of us staying in the house and all loved it. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard and watching the fireworks from the deck. We appreciated that there were multiple sitting and dining areas. We found everything as described on the site and would recommend this house to others

Old and Charming!! Woodwork beautiful. Lots of Table/Chair/Kitchen/Outside Space. Cute table and desk area for kids. Little saftey concerns such as stair rail height /stability and steps in DR/K/Den, and swing set.

Friends get away

Great house that was really spacious and had everything you need for a get away! Neighbors were nice and it was a great little neighborhood. Endless things to do around the area and at the house from grilling to camp fires to horseshoes. Really enjoyed the stay it was a comfortable house! Clean house however there were some ants in the upstairs bathroom but its in the country side so you can expect little critters but owners were clearly trying to fix this issue.

Charming and better than promised

The listing really didn’t do this property justice. It was great for three couples and three young children. We were only here briefly but the play set and outside fire pit would be great to enjoy on a longer trip. The house was really clean, charming and the owners thought of all the amenities so that we felt at home. Definitely recommend.

A Happy Christmas Vacation!

Small Town Beauty with a Grand Canyon

This was a quaint 4 BR home, nicely laid out and decorated. Plenty of parking and walking distance from downtown. Well equipped for a breakfast, clean thru to your evening campfire. A little hectic with 10 people and one of the Showers being downstairs. Maint and Housekeeping needs improvement, no working ceiling fans on 1st floor and two upstairs BRs lacking fans, one of our guests was sweeping cobwebs from the ceilings and corners and cleaning the sticking fridge drwrs. One thing I would definitely improve wouldbe adding (Handrails both sides from top to bottom of steps) or at least definitely mention it in ads. Overall, I enjoyed spending time with my family and would definitely stay here again.

House was never cleaned between guests

Disappointed in the lack of communication and failure to take any action by the owner. After I booked this rental I messaged the owner and requested an earlier check in to which he obliged. I made it very clear that I wanted to make sure he had time to get the cleaners in before I arrived so if it meant me needing to come later I would be fine with that. When we arrived the house was a mess and clearly the cleaners hadn't been there since there was a farewell note left by the previous guests. I messaged the owner about this and I never received a response from him. There were dirty sheets everywhere so we just had to pile them up in the laundry room (dryer was also broken) so we couldn't wash and dry anything. None of the surfaces in the kitchen or bathrooms were clean so we had to spend a couple hours scrubbing and wiping everything from the counters to the toilets. Luckily there were plenty of extra sheets and towels but no blankets for the beds. The listing also was supposed to have AC units in each room, but they were all on the floor in each closet so we had to install them ourselves. Aside from all that, the house was as described and we enjoyed it very much, just disappointing that the owner and cleaners let us down. At this time, I still have not received a response from the owner and it's been a full day since we checked out.

Farmhouse fun

Overall a very nice house and location. Outdoor area has a nice fire pit with table and chairs. It’s an old farmhouse with the creakiest stairs-no sneaking around here! The only complaint is that all of the wooden chairs and benches were very loose and shaky and we didn’t want to sit on them. There was plenty of chairs and couches for the 8 of us. Overall a nice place.

Friend get away

Loved the house and the country charm. What a great location. We had a great time enjoying Wellsboro and playing games until late at night. Perfect place for our small Christmas gathering!
