We were happy with our room. It was nice and clean. We loved the apples. It was close to restaurants. And it wasn't far from the Convention Center. The desk clerks were excellent.

I didn't make it to the hotel to check in until around 8pm. The hotel had tried to contact me regarding my credit card that was on file with them via Hotels.com because it had expired in September 2025. They left me a message saying that if I didn't contact them in 1 hour, they would cancel my booking because they were fully booked. (Nevermind the fact that I had yet to show up in person where I could potentially give them a different card.) I did not see their text message until I was at the hotel and by then they had already canceled my booking. Fortunately, they were able to get me my room back and I paid with my card with the new expiration, but it seemed like they jumped the gun to cancel my stay by canceling it before I even showed up!! Even if you are fully booked, I HAVE a reservation and I'm arriving at 8pm and not 11:59PM where it my seem reasonable to cancel (or charge a card) because of a no show. Other than that, everything was mostly great. On the last 2 nights of my 5 night stay, however, I did notice a bug (a roach?) that was trapped behind the light in the bathroom. For 2 nights, I watched him walk back and forth trying to find a way out. I'd recommend this hotel review it's pest control spray schedule. We were here for a dog show and I'm not super picky about where I stay and this hotel will most likely continue to be my "go to" hotel when in Wichita Falls.

We stayed one night when we were passing through on the way to Colorado. The staff was friendly and the hotel room was clean. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is the comfort of the bed. It was on the firm side which is not unusual for a chain hotel.

The elevators were slower than normal and some of the rooms had a slight odor to them. Not sure what the odor was, but it smelled like sewage.

Room Cleaning was an issue. I stay a couple times a year when i visit my son at college and it usally a good stay but the cleaning crew they now have is not up to par. My restroom at check in late friday night was dirty there was a towel on the floor trash was halfway and only half aroll of toilet paper. Also we registered for family of 4 and thye had 2 clean towels in the bathroom only. My bed sheet had blood when i removed comforter. I advised front desk he would make sure house keeping would refesh our room while we were out that morning came back to nothing being done. Front desk manager apolgized but that was the extent of correcting the issue.

It is surrounded by everything you’d want to eat. Gas was hard to find. The room was average. It did the job but we have stayed in better La Quintas. The bed was too high, the door slammed way too hard and the door jam showed it. It smelled, there was bits of glass in the carpet and even though it appeared clean, it was run down.

Overall, for the price, the hotel was good. Everything seemed clean and we didn’t have any issues when we did speak to a staff member. I did not care for being checked in by a webcam attendant who wasn’t even in the building. It was hard to understand - it kept glitching and it felt so impersonal.

Bugs in Hotel

My first room had dead bugs in it and the sink didn’t work. Hotel employee graciously got us another room. However, in the second room, I woke up to a live cockroach in my bathroom and more dead bugs in the room. Customer service was good, hotel was not so good. Would not recommend staying here.

The shower curtain was dirty . The bathroom has cob webs . When they did clean the room they only emptied the waste baskets. Beds were not made and white towels were stained we had to go out and buy our own

Excellent service even when the elevator broke down. Nate, one of the front desk clerks, carried my wife’s bike up to the fourth floor and got the maintenance folks on the elevator quickly. Room was clean and house keeper kept us in clean towels. Thanks for the visit.
