Good size and welcoming lobby. Superficially very clean but pretty dated and in need of new carpets and decoration. 5 minute drive from Colonial Williamsburg The breakfast, while included, was a bit lame: served on paper plates / bowls; bags of bagels etc just emptied out of bags and positioned on buffet bar. Not the fault of staff but disappointing.

Food from prior resident was left in the frig and remote was sticky and dirty. Good location to downtown Williamsburg. The facility is being renovated so hopefully it will become a better place to stay.

We enjoyed our visit here. Thankful we could bring our dog. There was a little bit of faint odor in the hallways on our floor but not sure if just that weekend. We were disappointed that the gym was out of order during our stay. We will likely stay here again though and hope to use it in the future. Our rooms were modern and clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very hospitable. We had free, hot breakfast each morning. Historical Williamsburg is in walking distance. We went a few times. Beautiful stroll. Horses in the field across the street. Overall we had an affordable, comfortable stay.

A wonderful experience!!

We had to book a very last minute stay here, and this hotel was overall an amazing experience! It was very beautiful on the inside and out and the front desk employees were friendly and helpful. We had a single king bed room, It was clean, organized, and comfortable. The shower was nice, good control of the temperature, and had great water pressure. Our bed was comfortable and clean. The room smelled nice and there was no visible dirt or defects anywhere in the room. It had a fridge, a microwave, a desk, and a tv. The pool was nice and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful! They had a lot of options and kept it stocked throughout the whole morning. Check in was super simple, just gave vehicle information and proof of identity, and were given our room keys and directed to our room. Checkout was even easier, we handed the front desk employee our keys back and were told to have a wonderful day. No complaints about our experience and I would highly recommended this place. Also side note: they allow anyone 18 or older to check in. Other hotels in the area require you to be 21, so this was an extremely amazing benefit to this hotel! Me and my girlfriend spent the day at water country, and just needed a place to stay for the night, It was a struggle finding a hotel that would allow us to check in at 18, but this one was IT! No complaints and great experience especially for the price!!

The room was run down and old. Wall paper was peeling off the walls, old carpet, dirty bathroom and shower floors, dirty mirror with toothpaste spit stains, etc. The shower curtain rod was broke and hanging down. The beds were average but the comforters had stains on them. The TV was about a 32 in. The breakfast was pretty average. Good for a night but that’s it.

Staff was very friendly. The hall way on the 3rd floor smells like mildew. My room smelled wet and had that mildew smell. My bathroom smelled horrible. If you ran the water the tub and the sink was stopping up.

I first I thought it was going to be terrible because when we got in the room it was very humid and had a musky smell, but after putting the AC on for a while the smell went away. Beds were comfortable and clean. Tv can use an update. But other than that there is nothing to complain

Worse hotel I have ever stayed in. We had to change rooms twice. One had blood stains on the curtains and the bathroom door was locked because they were working on the bathroom. The other one had a hole on the wall and another one in the sink. It smell like people smoke in the hallways and the rooms. We booked for two nights and when tried to leave sooner because of all the incovinients, they didn’t wanna refund me our money so stayed for two nights and left right after that. dHonestly, overall we had a terrible experience.

We love that the pool was covered , everyone could still swim even while it was raining outside ( perk) . The only drawback was some old musty smells at times

I visit this property annually for the past 5 years. This year was ver disappointing and disgusting. There is an awful stinch that smells like old wet carpet. The side entrance door was not secure it's left unlocked for a long extensions cord to provide electricity from the outside in. We were relocated 3x due to the bathroom doors being locked. Mgmt said the cause was "a new housekeeper" Housekeeping are very friendly but speak little to no English. I speak Spanish amd was able to communicate my needs to them. On our 2nd night stay, each floor ice machine had out of order signs (July 18, 2025), as well as every floor level soda machine was out of drinks. Ceiling water spots, vacant room with a busted door lock mechanism, stained carpet, lack of expected amenities. I will not be returning. It is evident that something has gone awry with this location. I requested a refund/cancellation and mgmt responded professional and friendly however I booked through a 3rd Party Travel Club and Best Western mgmt advised me that I had to go through the 3rd Party. Also I was on time restraints, so I remained the full 3 day booking. Beds were very comfortable and towels clean and replaced daily
