We got the two room, king bed, queen sofa unit which included a kitchenette and two bathrooms. This was amazing! Our room 1101 was very quiet and near to the office. The room and fixtures were quite beautiful and look very new. They provide the usual toiletries along with dishwasher pack, dish soap and sponge. Both the king bed and the queen roll out were comfortable. Air conditioning was fully functional and there was enough hot water for everyone. We were able to park very close to our room on the first floor and the room was very easy to access. We were pretty far from the pool but we did make it there. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, however all but two of the hot tub jets seem to be broken and the water is warm but not really hot. The staff was helpful and nice during our stay. If you book through Expedia you will not pay the $20 resort fee until you get there, but Expedia did tell us about that. The only negatives to mention are that the coffee maker in 1101 has a broken button, but we found a way to make it work and the master bathroom floor needed to be mopped because it had spots on the floor that were clearly from the last guests. The carpets in the unit appear to be clean but if there was one remodeling upgrade I would suggest for the hotel it would be solid floors throughout, instead of carpet. The positives of this place far outweigh the negatives and we would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others.

Worst hotel staff I have ever encountered

Worst staff ever. Don’t stay here!!!! Plenty of other hotels in this area. Called to say my GPS said I’d arrive 2 minutes after check in closed at 11PM that rainy night. They adamantly refused to wait. I arrived at 11:02. Lights off, locked, phone unanswered. No way they even waited until 11. I’d have seen them leaving or running to their car as I drove into lot before 11:02. Don’t stay here!!!!!

Our stay was exceptional. The staff was friendly and our room was clean. The pool was staffed and had towels. The hot tub was amazing. The only thing i would change would be the shower head in the master on suite.

There was no game room; it was checking out board games. Also, to get towels, I had to speak with the manager because it was not requested on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. First time that towels had to be upgraded. Go figure!!!

Gross & dirty - management doesn't follow through

Gross and dirty. We stayed here for one night to check out Busch Gardens. We planned to use the pull out sofa, and when we pulled out the bed it was covered in sand, dirt, and other debris. And not just a little bit that could easily be brushed off, pretty much across the whole mattress cover. Someone was obviously sandy and dirty and eating messily on the bed, and no one ever cleaned it up. It was late, so we pulled off the mattress cover and planned to lay a blanket down. The blanket from the closet had two large clumps of hair in it. I realize that happens sometimes when something goes through a dryer, but folks should check it before putting it out for people to use. I mentioned this to the clerk at checkout the next morning and asked them for half of my money back since half the beds were filthy. They said someone from management would contact me in the next 48 hours. Its been 2 weeks and no one has followed up. I will say that the room was large and spacious - my first impression was that it was a great place. Good location with lots to do and restaurants around. Just disappointed in the cleanliness and lack of follow through by their management.

The hotel was very good. The room was excellent for our 6 day stay. Was grateful for the small kitchen. Saved a lot on needing to eat out all the time. My only beef was the fact that they had “extra” fees over and above what was listed on Expedia. Never could figure the reason for the fees other than to recoup their advertised low price. They said the fees were for the paper, soaps, towels and pool. All these are normal non factors at other hotels. They tried to get me to sign a paper that would have allowed them to charge $20 extra per day. I wouldn’t sign it. What they charged came out to around $10 extra per day. Oh, well. Other than that the accommodations were excellent.
