Staff was great. While the motel is older the room was remodeled and clean. Looked like new floors, new bedding and curtains. The bed was comfortable too. The price was great too. We would stay here again.

I’ve stayed at three different motels here in Winnemucca Nevada. Out of all of them this by far is the cleanest, nicest and friendliest out of all of them.

Nice room, no hot water

From the outside this hotel didn't look like much, but the room was a pleasant surprise. Large and clean, with a couple of comfortable recliner chairs, very comfy. All was great until I went to take a shower and...no hot water. Barely lukewarm at best. I had been camping for several days so was really looking forward to a hot shower. Because it was late and I was too tired to deal with switching rooms, I dealt with it. But maybe check the hot water before you get too settled in.

Average hotel stay.

Room was clean and bed was comfy enough. However walls and ceiling are very thing so could hear conversation in adjoining rooms and stomping. Could hear all the traffic outside because of single pane windows. Front desk was very nice.

Staff was very friendly at checkin. Pretty noisy traffic, but slept pretty good. Overall, it was great for our overnight stay. Ate dinner at Sigs, walking distance away. Great service there, plenty to eat and good food.

Customer was excellent. It looks like this is run by an individual/family, which I like to support. The only thing that could be improved is an upgrade in the rooms. But I realize that is expensive.

We are on the road moving. We set the reservation on Orbitz. We called to confirm 2 things, parking for a trailer with a boat and bottom floor for my mother who is disabled. When we arrived we found out that the parking situation was very tight with a chance of being stuck. We were told to park the 50k boat at the abandoned gas station across the way. The rooms smelled funny, and were a bit run down. We attempted to talk to the host about these parking issues and were met with rude hostility. We never used the rooms were there for 20 minutes and were told that there are no refunds after 30 minutes. I was yelled at and had to tell the host to get out of the way to leave in my vehicle while being harassed. Unfortunately disputing the charges for being lied to and low quality staff. Went to Marriott super happy no angry host staff, paid twice as much still happy.

Nothing fancy, but clean and affordable. Easy walk to restaurants. A good place to crash after a long day of driving. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were great.

This facility has become quite dated. The furnishings are old and showing evidence of routine wear and tear, and the overall cleanliness has deteriorated. It looks like new ownership and investment in new furnishings with an update to the building would go a long way to make it more appealing. It looks as if the current owner is tiring of the tasks at hand and is ready for retirement. My advice to them would be, "Sell out now and enjoy your retirement."
