Staff are great. It's a budget hotel with clean comfortable rooms that are great for the price. The music does bleed through from the bar with a dull thud but that is to expected when sleeping above a pub. Music stopped at 11pm and a good nights sleep was had.

The single room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Even with the hotel pumping for footy finals, the noise was quite full and didn't disturb me. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The meals were very good. I needed to rebook in the area so decided to return to The Figtree Hotel

Second stay this week but got a queen room this time. Was extremely pleased with my room. Clean, comfortable with a huge shower in a large bathroom. Staff, hotel ambience and meals were again, very good . I feel very comfortable as a solo female traveller on this occasion, to stay and eat a meal in nice surroundings.
